Right out of the box, I put oil in it, a gallon of gasoline, and it started right up. The remote also was pre-programmed and works also. Several items I think are noteworthy but not necessarily a criticism. Oil filler is awkward to remove, whereas it is right in line with the battery cables. Secondly, it would have been useful to know exactly how much oil it took. It says in the manual, 1.1 (L). I do not believe that to be accurate. The tires are not going to perform well on wet grass. The manual states it should not be operated in the rain. Also, it says the generator should not be operated in an enclosure. Where do you think people are going to operate a generator in an emergency? I bought it for hurricane season, so I cannot leave it outside? Do I build a shelter for it? This is the one question I want an answer to. I think overall I am going to be pleased with it. I am having an electrician wire in a transfer panel and by my own estimations, it will power my whole house. BEFORE I need it, I will certainly plug it in and just see what the capabilities are. We purchased this product for size and ease of operation. We needed to power a good portion of our home and the relative ease of operation. No longer having to go out during the storm to start up. When the storm is approaching, we simply preset the gas to on and prep for start up. When the power goes out, press the remote start and we are back in power. With supplied the battery tender, we never have to worry whether the battery is charged or not. Definitely the best generator we have ever purchased.

Broke down and got this generator after the last storm left us without power for several days. Looks to be a life saver for the next time. Looks like a great generator to keep us powered up. Too bad I can't get the bonus cover as promised for the review. Would have made it 5 stars instead of 4.

My previous gen was 3500W and when we lost power it struggled with 2 space heaters. This was nicely delivered and at 9500W will be a great improvement. Runs great and came with oil and funnel to install it. Easy to do the minor assembly needed (2 wheels and 2 feet). Care and maintenance manual included so internet not needed to see proper setup.

After the power went out, I finally made the plunge and got a generator. This beast does the job, running 2 refrigerators, a freezer and of course a coffeepot. As an unexpected bonus, this is quieter than the generator I borrowed during this past outage.

Bought this unit and got it delivered. Solid & compact unit. Simple & quick assembly with tools provided. Attached bubble level indicators to guide correct placement (purchased separately). Easy to move around with the large wheels and foldable handlebar. Comes with oil and funnel. Runs great. Clear instructions covering assembly, operations and maintenance.

I bought this generator in April this year and have already had to use several times due to storms and power outages. As we live in a very rural setting this is a necessity for home. House is wired to enable generator to plug in outside plug which enables generator to power our home, deep well pump and water pump to the house. Works great.

I've moved to a new home that may have extended power outages, so I had my electrician wire te house for a generator and I purchased this one. It powers my furnace, well pump, refrigerator and some lights. I like that it uses propane. It weighs 212 pounds so it took some work to get it out of my car! Ii is easy to move after you add the tires. I found the instructions clunky. How many times do they have to tell you not to run it inside! I appreciated that my electrician was here to help me understand the instructions. I also had to call the 800 # for clarification on what the instructions were saying. They were helpful and I appreciated that a human being answered!

Arrived today. Easy to install wheels and feet. A connector plug was supplied to connect the battery, making it easy. It started with a simple push of a button. There is enough power to run my whole house, including a 4 ton AC unit (low in-rush due to a variable scroll and variable fan). I did not run the stove or hot water heater. Very happy.

I only had to use this 2 times now, but it fires up without a issue. I use propane as my fuel source, but I like the ability to use gas. I used the remote starter from 75 feet away with a shed and garage in between. It started up just like I was standing beside it. I tested the output, it was right on what I was hoping to see. The muffle is protected in a housing which makes it a bit safer around people. I would and have already recommended it to other family members. I could not give 5 stars because I have not had it long enough to see long term effects. I have only 11.5 hours on it. 10 of them hours were fully used and with a heavy load.
