Just received my WGen9500DF and was very impressed with build quality and ease of set up out of box, remote start fob and battery charger were also an added benefit when comparing other brands in its class. My propane tank was being installed the same day I received my generator and after my propane sales rep. saw the features of the unit he said he said he will start recommending this unit to his customers.

I've been studying and researching generators for months, and found that the Westinghouse WGen9500DF is by far the best all-around generators made. Not only is it duel-fuel but it also offers the switch plate along with other convenient bells&whistles which make this generator super consumer friendly for the common family to use and rely on.

The unit arrived in a few days in good condition, and the delivery personal were very careful not to damage the generator. I like the dual fuel feature, remote start, battery charger port with included battery tender, easy assembly, rubber outlet protection covers, hour meter, and the bonus cover. The generator was a really good deal and has many features, thus I am very happy with this purchase!!!

I bought this generator to power my hole home. I have a 2500 sq foot house. I had an electric wire it into the panel and this generator runs everything no problem. And not to mention all the Features for the push button electric start, it can run on propane and my most favorite the remote start enables you to start it from inside your home. Hands down you will not be able to find a generator with all the features this has on it.

We bought this to replace a smaller Generac that served us well. But, we wanted to be able to power more; our water heater, well pump, even a/c, as well as our security system and cameras. (We’re kind of remote, out in the country) It came in two days, perfectly boxed, no damage at all. The SAIA driver kindly wheeled it right into our garage. I used a small floor jack to jack each side up to install the wheels and foot pegs. Basically, it was unboxed, instructions read, and ready to fill the oil in no more than 20 minutes. I charged the battery for a couple of hours, although the indicator lit yellow from the box; I just wanted it to be well-charged. I added half a tank of gas for now, paired the remote, and it started up instantly. After ten minutes or so, I threw the main breaker and plugged in some lamps, etc., to see if it was working. The duplex plugs are all working fine. We’ll be hooking this up to a 300-gallon propane tank soon, running 50A directly into the plug under our breaker box; but I wanted to check it out on gas first. So far, so good. I have little doubt but that this will be a great generator for some time to come. It’s beautiful, stout, and seems very well-built.

Nov 3rd 2022, purchased two of these units and just setting up. I have two separate 200amp panels each setup with a 50amp/240V breaker and 14-50R outlet for the purpose of back-feeding each panel independently and supplying limited power to my home during outages. I will come back and give you a full account of my experience. I have optimistically assigned 5 stars in each category but will adjust and explain if necessary.

I just got it today and plan on starting it up tomorrow to give it a test run. The box looks intact, so delivery looks like they took care of it. Kudos to NSD delivery services! will update this review once i get it started and used it a few times.

4 stars since I've only assembled it and did the initial start up. Will upgrade as required once I get some run time. Great features (battery tender and electric start, remote control), as well as the ability to run regular outlets, or feed via 30 amp or 50 amp cord.

I bought the 9500 last year, but had an easy storm season, so I never took it out of the box. Henri' was heading our way, so my son and I opened the box and set it all up; it started on the spot! I couldn't find info. on how much oil it held, (1 quart), and that was the biggest hassle of putting it together; pouring ever so slowly and checking what felt like every ounce 'til it was filled! The remote start works around corners, YAY! Now I'm on a roll and are planning to install a generator interlock into our breaker box. This is all a response to Sandy; 2 weeks; never again. My heart always goes out to the southern states who always take the brunt of the yearly, hurricane seasons. Stay strong!

A friend let us borrow this exact model after the recent hurricane and we were sold then. It was strong enough to keep us cool and comfortable for the week after the hurricane when we didn't have any power. Large enough to power one central A/C unit, refrigerator, freezer, Internet modem, and done outlets. I found the maintenance and break-in instructions to be very straightforward, and the push button startup was very reliable. Now I have peace of mind which you can't put a price on.
