I bought this 2 years ago with the extended warranty. I didn't need it till this year and it would not start. I contacted both Westinghouse and the Allstate(for the extended warranty) and they gave me tips to see about getting it working, but nothing worked. And now, they are basically telling me to get it fixed on my own. Definitely would not recommend this product or the any extended warranty that doesn't cover anything and runs concurrently with the manufacturers warranty.

I bought my Westinghouse Gen9500 about two years ago set it up as the manual stated of course no Bad Weather the first year but in early 2024 I had to pull it out and it started up in seconds and ran 30 hours STRAIGHT with out any issues. I had everything you could think of plunged into the generator and it ran like a Champ so I am Sold on the machine even my neighbor purchased the same model after the storm.
