We wanted back up power for our pump which we need for a flush. We unplug pump pig tail to house power to an extension cord from inverter outside. We also refresh hooking up freezer then switching to refrigerator. Check to be sure you have the right 220 plugs and cords.

I haven't had a chance to try it in an actual outage yet, but I tried it out of the box and it started right up with no problems. i tried both gas and propane and it worked perfectly. I connected it to the house and brought the load up to 8 KW. It ran smoothly and no flickering lights. We will have to see how it runs after an extended power outage but I don't foresee any issues. Upgrading from previous generator. Like that it has dual fuel capabilities. Like that it came with solid tires, tool kit, battery trickle charger, remote start, propane regulator and hose. Has many additional features. Easy to set up. Noise factor similar (may be less) than our previous unit/ able to talk when standing next to it.

It just arrived today, 9/24/2021/ The foot pads were a little hard to get on since one bolt on each foot would not screw in easy. The wheels went on with no problem. Battery hooked up easy. Starting it with the electric start was easy, and the remote start worked well once you found the pairing button. Recoil start was very hard to do.

Assembly was incredibly easy, and the push button start makes this thing a breeze to use. The instructions are clear and everything on the control panel is marked, making this the easiest generator I've ever used. So far it's handled everything we've thrown at it, and makes me feel better knowing we're prepared for severe weather.

Purchased this as a partial home backup generator given the increasing frequency of storms knocking out power in our neighborhood. Now we can open the garage door, keep our security system and internet online, and keep our fridges running so our food doesn't spoil while waiting on the power to be restored. Stoked about this addition to our home and investment in our future. (Though truthfully, I hope it's rarely used!)

great value. I looked at several generators in this range of power and price. This unit was the best value and power available. It was an easy assembly. Upon our last power outage, we were able to run most items in home. Very happy with this purchase.

Picked this up on Amazon..arrived on time and well packaged. It took about 20 minutes to attach the wheels..1 connector to the battery..4 bolts for feet and fill it with oil. Connected it to a propane tank and it started right up. I had an electrician wire a plug to my breaker box and we verified it can run all my lights and a small ac ..refrigerator etc..This will definitely get me buy for a few days.

With the winter storm in Texas, I immediately did research on buying a portable generator for the house. One of the top generators (and at an awesome price) was this one here. Having received it and setting it up, I must say it's features are slick and exceeded my expectations on what a generator would have. The dual fuel feature is useful, and the electric start along with a remote switch is truly impressive. For someone who has never used a generator before, I was glad that this was an easy setup and that the instructions as well as maintenance are simple and easy to follow. Westinghouse has definitely left an impression on me and I look forward to using this product for any emergency as well as buying any other products.

I took delivery of my 9500DF and hooked it up to my house and it ran everything I needed it to, some things at the same time and the generator barely bogged down under load, very impressive. The same for my RV, I have a 30amp service TT and was able to run the entire RV with the A/C running at the same time and the generator did not struggle at all.
