I'm at 80 years of age and have worked on machinery most of my life. I find this unit to be of good quality and build. At 220 pounds, the ball-bearing wheels are a must to move this into position, and the remote start future is an excellent add-in convenience. The ease of doing the required start-up includes oil, a small tool kit, a remote start, FOB, which must be paired per operator's manual, and the funnel is a snap, and I must mention that reading the well-written operator's manual is a must. I use propane only, but the 6.6-gallon metal fuel tank will work well if necessary. I did a remote start at over one hundred feet and was satisfied. Doing maintenance is well thought out when required. I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a better generator at this price point. Purchased this after the 2021 Texas Winter Storm. Even though we may never go 5-6 days without power again, our neighborhood is subject to multiple power outages a year (ONCOR says it a weak crossarm, yet it fails 5-6 times per year-yeah right!). Anyway the wife wanted something that could power the whole house when we lose power during those blistering Texas summers (have to have AC). This will do the trick. Plus we now work from home and should be able to power our Over-The-Air TVs and possible internet. I did a ton of research and this beast more than fits our needs. Dual fuel, I have 30+ gallons of fuel I constantly rotate into the vehicles, and can it use propane if we get desperate, gotta love it. Great price, great brand!!!

The product was purchased in April 2022. I have tested it with power tools in my garage including a large air compressor. I have also hooked it up to my home using a 50 amp 8ga cord @ 25ft. It ran everything in the house with no problem for two hours straight. The generator starts immediately every time. Noise level was no more than a lawn mower.

While I do like the product, I am disappoinmted with Westinghouse. I needed the WGen 20k unit and was told they didn't have any? Coming from a company my relatives have worked for years with, I was amazed. From a company that has almost built this entire Country, to not have an advertised item in stock was a huge disappointment. I have never had to "settle" for less with Westinghouse. Until now. I will still stand by their products, but will now be looking at other options.

Bought this a month ago but due to covid finally assembled it and started it with the propane hook up. Love the electric and remote start. Tested the 20amp plugs, worked great. Waiting for my power cord to deliver next week and test my new 50 amp setup. I was able to run my house on my old 30 amp set up on a 6000 w generator but its 20 years old. It did a good job when needed but this new Wgen 9500df unit should do an even better job. Once my cord delivers i will test the unit and report back

I bought this generator when we lost power for 10 days after Hurricane Beryl. So happy I did as it was easy to set up and start. Plus it was powerful enough to run my house air conditioner or my pool equipment. We were able to stay put in our home very comfortably throughout the 10 days. Loss of power doesn't worry me anymore

Great product! I spent about 1 hour doing the assembly, all the necessary parts were available including the necessary wrench. Upon examination the generator is very well made, properly machined and all parts fit perfectly. I'm breaking it in on propane, presently running and occaissionally placing a load on it to seat the rings. The generator started immediately, very impressed. Has a great selection of output plugs from 120 V. to the 240 V.- 30 and 50 amp for household connection. Will be connecting to the house current with a Generlink automatic switch, for safety and convenience. I especially appreciate the start features, hand crank, automatic start button, and the key fob, which has great range for starting and stopping. The fact that it is dual fuel (gas and propane) is also a real bonus. All in all, a great product. I'm now looking forward to another power outage!

Pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this generator. Took about half an hour to unpack and set it up. Filled with oil and hooked up to LPG bottle. Started on first push of the start button. Runs smooth. Electrical report to follow after engine break in period. Very happy.

Did my homework on generators, this was the best option for me. I wanted duel fuel, push button starts, reliability, long run times, auto choke,lots op power, and a good warranty, this one checked all the boxes Set up was easy, first ran it on propane then tested running on gas runs perfectly on both, now looking forward to our next power outage.

After carefully and thoroughly searching for a generator, I kept coming to this one due to the ease of use, the great reviews and the remote is a bonus for my wife to use when I'm not home. It has everything I was looking for in a generator plus added things I didn't think I needed. I'll be ordering the ST Switch soon to complete the system. Very happy and pleased with this WGen9500DF.
