Power kept going out more then ever. After a lot of research I decided on the WGen9500DF. After a few minutes of having to put the tires and the feet on, I added the supplied oil that came with the generator, filled with gas, and one attempt and it started right up. The fact that I can use gas or propane is a bonus. The generator is not to loud. Some reviews said it was pretty loud. I didn’t think so. Now I have no more worries when my power goes out. I’ll be prepared.

I bought this a month a go and after 350 hours of use and 7 oil changes and 2 spark plug changes, when I was working on it's 3rd spark plug change, the threads broke off and came out with the spark plug, even though I used the tool provided. Now I can't get a new spark plug in and my home that runs on generators is without power.

After two power outages in only a couple of months time, we knew it was time to invest in a generator. We did lots of research and felt the Westinghouse dual fuel at this price was the best option for us. Looks to be built well - love the remote! Not that I'm hoping for a power outage, but can't wait to use for the next emergency.

My wife and I are both in our mid 70's and each year find it more difficult to deal with our power outages which can range from hours to days. We trusted Rinker Inc of Lake Ariel, PA to recommend the generator that would best meet our needs and installation and training took place this past Tuesday. Ironically, our power went out on Monday for ~ 3 hrs. We feel confident that all will go well when we need to use it.

Was worried when I ordered it after reading reviews about damaged when received.Mine came in perfect condition.l was really happy with the packaging and delivery.Haven’t started it yet,I’m working on the hookup to the house.I’ll write back when I get it all hooked up.

I was looking for a good deal on a reliable generator and found this one. Love the dual fuel option, it shipped quickly and in good condition, and only needed basic assembly (attaching wheels and two foot stands.) Started immediately the first time (used propane.) Appreciate the remote start. Not as loud as other generators. Definitely recommend.

Such a great generator with the size and features it has. Being a woman, the best part is the remote start and the quality tires to roll it around. Love that I can use both fuel types and we will be using this in emergency situations when the power goes out. Should be able to run most if not all of our breakers for our larger house. Have already recommended this model to friends and family!

This is a replacement for another brand that was stolen recently. Prior to this unit, I had to run two generators to provide 50AMP support for my RV. This one unit supports both 30 and 50 amp connections at a much better price point than other brands. The setup was very easy and the unit even comes with a remote starter fob! I am very happy that we decided to get this unit and would highly recommend it.

I bought this due to a power outage (we had an ice storm and power was out for two weeks!) and this generator is a BEAST! I purchased a 40 gallon propane tank and with that and a full tank of gas I was able to have heat, hot water and television the entire time the power was out.

Just received , Am excited to give it a go .After looking and reading about a LOT of generators Westinghouse stood out as a leader and well respected unit. It is large enough for my WHOLE house, Said to run for 12 Hrs on a tank of gas. That would be wonderful, anything over 6 Hrs is a plus... Other than a major malfunction I really think it will serve me for a long time in the future........
