I bought this generator recently and am grateful for it. Every winter the power goes out at least for a day, and now I know that I have a product I can count on, and we can keep things going. It puts out far more wattage at a lower cost than all the other generators I’ve priced, and it’s good-looking, too!

I bought this for our home that goes through a ton of power outages, even in the modest of windstorms. I have only read positive reviews for westinghouse generators and can't wait to run it. Set up was easy and the dual fuel gives me options for fuel, if I'm ever in a pinch. We have had too many instances where we needed a generator and now that we have a new baby girl, this generator gives us ease of mind to keep the house warm and our food safe.

A heavy unit but does the job! For assembly, it's easierby flipping the unit sideways to install the wheels n stands. Hook n it runs. Have not tested it for full house power supply yet, will come back to updated. So far so good! No more worries of power shutdown by the tyrants. We got our own power and we stand up for our freedom!

I bought this unit to give my wife piece of mind. No need for pull start as we are both senior citizens and don’t have the strength to deal with a pull start.All hard wired in and here is to hoping we never have to use it. Thanx for the fast and easy delivery.

Picked this up a couple weeks ago in anticipation of our normal winter weather related power outages and issues. We had a 4500 rated unit from another brand but the constant fueling, cord switching, and juggling of what could and couldn't be powered just wasn't worth the hassle unless things got really bad for an extended period of time. Had my electrician wire up a Transfer switch and setup for this 9500. Assembly was super easy, 15 mins tops... Although a lot heavier than I thought it would be. Fired up on the first request and ran smoothly. Connecting to the transfer switch 50amp was a breeze and it powers literally everything in our 2500sq ft house except for the heat pumps. Couldn't be happier

I recently bought this generator and found it easy to assemble, load in oil and start for the first time. Instructions are easy to follow and associated tagging on the unit helped. The generator is also easy to move on flat or somewhat rough surfaces. I had to move mine through a gravel area and it was fairly easy. Since this is a new purchase, I have yet to test it in a power outage.

Bought this to replace an old (23 years) Generac. Very easy to assemble, fired up right away. Ran it only for 5 minutes, then shut it down. 2 months later we had a week long power outage, ran it every day 12+ hours a day, no issues. Have had intermittent outages since, very reliable so far. We run it through a manual transfer switch to the house panel, runs the entire house but we don't use the electric oven or dryer.

I just bought this dual power generator and it appears to be excellent quality and easy to set up to get it ready to use. It would have been nice had it come with at least one power cord, but I'll just have to purchase one separately. I would have given it 5 stars had it had a power cord.

I bought this for the push button start. It did not disappoint; it started right up. Delivered with a fully charged battery (it comes with a trickle charger, too). I tested gasoline first (ethanol free, although they say it works with regular ethanol gas) and that worked. Then I tested propane and it started right up, too. I haven't had a chance to load a charge onto it; I'll have to wait for the power to go out for that. I had a little bit of difficulty inserting the 30 amp twist lock and I don't know yet whether it's in far enough. That test will have to wait for the next storm.

After lots of research, I settled on the WGen9500DF as an alternate whole home power source. It's very well built and maintenance should be a snap. Assembled and added oil and it fired up immediately on propane. I ran a few power tools and the generator hardly noticed. It's a bit noisier than I anticipated but it's going to be housed in a fairly noise dampening environment. It's not so big as to be unwieldy and it wheels around very easily. I hope I never need it as intended but It will serve many purposes. If you're looking for a good solid piece of equipment to power just about anything, this is it!
