Bought the WGen9500DF. Unit was unscathed out of the box, very simple to assemble in 10 min max. Hooked up the battery, attached LP gas following the easy instructions. Unit started immediately, remote key fob works slick. Disconnected utility power and plugged generator into my house receptacle and had plenty of power to run all the essentials.

I bought this product because of the features. I was looking around until I found what I wanted. This product has all those features. Minimal assembly was required. The tools that were needed were included. It is easy to move around especially for the size.

This is my second generator and I'm getting older so I thought that by having a push start it would make it easer to get it going. I also love that I can use 2 types of fuel. This is one of the assets to my house. Cant wait to use it. Although it is a little heavy to move, I'm planing on making a place close to my connection to the house so I can maintain it dry and not have to move it.

We had 2 power distruptions this summer and I expect more to come. Majority ash trees are dead in the state aand WE Energies is not able to cut them all down. I only tried generator and it started right away. Right now electrician is setting all lines to connect to main panel if necessary. After he is done we will try it again to see how much power it can actually give. I expect conditioner, furnace, well, microwave, refrigirator and lights in one room. This product was recommended by electrician.

We bought the 9500DF as a replacement for an older 5600 watt unit. I did a lot of research before making my decision and found the Westinghouse 9500DF was the best choice for us. We live in a rural area with a well and propane. I love the dual fuel feature, so when I don't have gasoline, the generator will still run. I have the unit installed into a manual transfer switch that powers 10 circuits in the house. My old 5600 watt generator would struggle when we would use the furnace and coffee pot together, if the well pump turned on, it would trip the breaker, which led us to always having to turn everything off when we wanted to take a shower for example. With this new 9500DF, the well pump is no longer a worry. When it turns on, the generator throttles on with ease. We can enjoy making coffee with the furnace on and run water without fear of the generator failing. One major bonus is the remote start feature. When the heavy snow starts, or our local power company, PGE warns of an impending power shutoff, I can simply turn the ignition switch on and, when the power goes off, I simply press the remote, the unit fires up and I flip the transfer switch without ever having to go outside. I love it.

Although it took longer than expected to receive, it was definitely worth the wait. This generator runs our entire house with no problems. After doing some research I could have purchased a smaller unit, but more power is always better and this 9500 watt generator does not disappoint.

We went big and bold, and are so glad that we did. We don't have to worry about running two or three things at a time in addition to our refrigerator and freezer. We live in an area where our power can be out for 5 to 7 days and this is huge improvement over our smaller generators because we can keep our food safe and have light and a way to cook. It is the best generator we have ever had and we are very pleased

Just received my WGen9500DF. The set up was straightforward and took about 25 min, as I took my time. Battery was charged and it started up nicely once gas got ro the carburetor. Ran smooth and shut down with fuel cut off to keep carb clean. I will add loads later to get a sense of performance. Very pleased with this purchase so far.

What a durable machine! My neighbor has one and swears by it. With all of the intense storms we seem to get in CT, and all of the times we have lost power, I felt it was time to get this generator! Right out of the box, you can tell it’s made with quality. It’s very durable and solid….I was recently informed that the underground wiring in our neighborhood is outdated and having lots of problems….I was told that until it can be replaced, we could lose power again and again…We lost power on Christmas morning and again on July 4th….We are ready this time!

Overall great product given its not a basic model that barely powers a mini-fridge and its not over the top that my whole house can be powered for the endless winter. In the event of a power surge and I have 2 or more days without power, food shouldn't spoil and phones can remain charged for emergencies. Plus, super easy to operate
