We bought this for storm protection but realize that I can use this for welding since I don't have the outlet to do this. The unit is not noisy so it won't annoy my neighbors who may be without power, or at least enough to run the A/C system. Easy to assemble and move around, and set up and break in operation was easy. I chose to use the LP option since I didn't want to put gasoline in it not being sure if I would be using this storm season.

Generator was easy to setup. I love the electric start and remote keyfob feature. I hooked up a propane tank and the generator started with no issues. I bought this because we've had several power outages the last few months. So i did my research and Westinghouse had excellent reviews, plus i have a friend that has this same model and he loves it.

This unit is strong and powerful with 9500 running watts this will run our major household items when the power is out. No more sweltering nights or cold days or going without water and keeping our fridge going as well. Well designed with great features and well built. The last time we lost power, the gas stations were out as well, but with this unit on propane we'll be fine. Unit started right up with both gas and propane with push button start----and a remote key fob start.

Bought this product because we live in an area with many, many power outages. Just recently was scheduled to have and outage that was supposed to last 14 hours. This worked like a charm! Powered our whole house. It was nice to have power and running water! Didn't lag when running multiple things. We were smart, of course and didn't get crazy turning everything on. Has a long run time on a tank of gas. The remote key fob is awesome too. Don't even have to walk outside to start it up. I highly recommend this to anyone who live in a rural area. Lifesaver!

We have frequent power outages (usually a couple hours in duration) but thought it important to have a backup plan in case of an extended outage.With no power, we lose well and sewage capabilities along with thawing freezer stuff. This is gonna be a big help in keeping us connected!

I purchased this a few weeks ago and installed a transfer switch and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to worry about spoilage anymore. Easy to operate with more than enough power to help out my neighbors. I love the fact that I can use propane to power the generator.

Very easy to operate and powerful generator. I considered getting a full-time house backup generator but after considering that we very seldom lose power here in eastern NC for more than a few days, I decided to get the 9500df. This generator powers the entire house along with two refrigerators and a freezer. Couldn't ask for a better product for the price!

This is my second Westinghouse Gen, I upgraded my faithful WGen7500 because I’ve gone through 2 hurricanes and my home required the 50Amp capacity. So far this Gen outperforms my previous faithful 7500 in power, reliability, lower noise, and longer running time. I was surprised it was quieter than the 7500. It runs all night on a single tank of gas. The remote starter is reliable and works from long distances. I really like that it has the dual-fuel feature, for when gasoline isn’t available. The various electrical ports, and the battery maintenance charge adapter are very useful, It’s great when product developers put themselves in the shoes of their prospective customers. I keep it plugged in, to be sure it push-button starts. I already used this Wgne9500DF twice during power outages that lasted 7 combined days. Didn’t disappoint me in any way. I reviewed several top gen manufacturers and decided to stay with Westinghouse, because of good experience with it, and the features, techonology, excellent workmanship and built made it an easy choice. Keep up the good work WH, don’t water-down the good products you’re making.

Purchased this unit in Dec. it arrived strapped on a pallet that was nice in its own right. The unit was nicely packaged. It took around 15 minutes to install wheels, plug up battery, etc. Put some 100% gas in and she fired up and ran about 15 minutes. Everything functioned just as it should. Now we have a little piece of mind
