Hoping this will meet our needs - for when PG& E decides to start rolling black out. Looks to be well thought out. Beware that total combined total output of 40 amps, even tho it has a 50 amp hook up- you're still only going to get 40 amps out of it.

So far, so good! This generator has everything I was looking for, I purchased it as a back up power supply for my home as I live in a hurricane prone state. So far I have done the 5 hr break in with no issues. Easy set up, easy directions, and easy start up. I will update after running a full home test in the next few weeks!

Just purchased this machine, as an electrician by trade I’ve seen a lot of generator and can honestly say this one is impressive. All the features that this generator comes with, plus being dual fuel capable is a great deal. I almost am looking forward to losing power this winter.

Bought this generator after researching them over a month. Rated in the top 1,2 or 3 in all review sites i visited. I decided on this make and model due to Westinghouse long history of making generators and the number of locations around the county should i ever need to have it serviced. It was delivered on the exact date promised. It took all of 10 minutes to assemble the tires and rubber mounts. The instructions were easy to follow. This being my first generator, i was a little apprehensive as to how it would perform. I bought this for emergency home use. After connecting the battery,adding oil (included) and turning on the fuel line, i used the push button start and it fired right up. I then had my wife use the remote control to start it. Fired right up. Both she and I were impressed and the generator wasn't as loud as I expected. I feel very confident it was serve me well in the future. Highly recommend this generator.

So I finally was able to pick up my new WGen9500df after months of debating and waiting for them to come back in stock everywhere. It was definitely worth the wait, as I'm extremely pleased with the generator. The power, features and capability cannot be beat at this price point. It's very well built and packed with everything you need in a generator. I have a bigger house out in the woods and frequently lose powerm I also have a big well pump and I wanted a generator with a 50 amp plug. That way I could power everything in my house without worry about tripping the breaker on a smaller unit, which is what I had prior. I'm an electrician and added a breaker panel interlock and reliance generator inlet box on the outside of my house. I plugged in the generator and it powered EVERYTHING in my house without breaking a sweat. Obviously not the electric range or dryer, but literally everything else I've been very happy with it so far and highly recommend it!

Just started yesterday. Initially, I forgot to open the fuel valve, went back to the manual and locate it; no problem. This is a very smooth machine. All controls and warnings are marked very well. It is heavier than it looks in the videos. I will need somebody to help me to move the machine to the site where I am going to keep it. Looking forward to a power cut now.

Took delivery of the WGEN9500df today and the initial impression is that this generator is a solid built machine. I had it up and running on propane within 20 minutes of unboxing it. I haven’t put it through anything demanding yet so the jury is still out regarding its performance. Remote start with the fob is a solid win here in the mitten state during the winter months.

I live on the Gulf Coast and this gen-set is the best bang for your bucks. When a hurricane comes my lights will be on, then I stow it away for next season. Also it is great for running all electrical gear at the hunting camp. So far no problem's or issues. Good piece of gear to have for work, fun are storms.

I bought this a few days ago and followed directions and start was very easy. Hooked up a portable fan and ran for 30 minutes. I plan on running this generator every month for 30 minutes as it will be used for home backup if and when the power goes out.

I live in Fort Worth TX and after last winters storm and being without power for several days I decided to by a generator. I love that it's dual fuel in case I have a problem getting fuel for it for any reason. I had an electrician install an inlet on the outside of my home to feed my home electrical panel in the event of an outage. It's not quite powerful enough to run my central ac but it will run everything else that I would need to keep running. It's easy to start with the fob that comes with it and you can also start it with the pull cord if needed. You can't go wrong with this tough gu!
