Generator has all the features you would ever need for camping, job site or as Emergency back up as I used it for. Wired in the 50 amp service for all lights, tv, internet, wall out lets, water heater and fan motor on HVAC. Added 30 amp service for just the AC condenser and we now have 100% back up for power outage or ice / winter storms. Also will run gas and propane. What more could you ask for from a portable generator!!!!!!!! We love it.

Well designed generator with great features. Havent run yet. packaging was in great shape buy control panel was pushed in. bent the panel and panel mount brackets. Note! on of the 20 amp circuit breakers was damages and unusable. need to be replaced.

Easy set up. Started right up on both gas and propane. I am from south Louisiana 90 miles from the Gulf so I put it through the ringer in testing to make sure I am ready to go. I have 3 other generators, 2 of which are 17 years old and are still reliable and start on first pull. I have been using generators for numerous storms since Rita. My Westinghouse is on tap to be the Mack Daddy of all of them. Thoroughly impressed with its features, and affordability. Advice to the novice WGEN9500DFc new owners, follow the user manual to a 'T' and perform your preventative maintenance.

I ordered this machine and it was delivered on time. The delivery guys were great and left the product where I requested. The assembly was easy and started the generator without any problem I have only had it for a month but so far it has worked 100%.

I don't want to loose power but am very excited to try this generator out. I have been watching lot's of videos and all the reviews are very positive for any of the Westinghouse generators. I am excited that this generator has the dual fuels option. Great job Westinghouse!

Just purchased this generator to use for emergency backup power in our home. After experiencing snowmageddon this past February, we decided it was best to get a little energy insurance for any future issues. The features and power of this generator are awesome! All metal gas tank, up to 20, 30 and 50 amp outlets. Remote start. And the option to add the ST automatic transfer switch make this an incredible option. So far very pleased.

I bought this generator about a week ago so have not run the unit yet. Four issues out of the box and it is brand new. 1.When I went to install the wheels. The axle for one wheel would not go through the axle bracket because there was a metal burr sticking out. I used a dremel tool with a grinder bit to remove the burr. 2. When I went to install the feet, the one had metal fragments in the threads. A pick was able to remove the fragments. 3. The instructions indicated a remote but it was not in the accessories box as indicated. I found the remote attached to the manual start pull chord. 4. When I went online to register the generator, the submit button did not work. It was necessary to call customer support and they registered the generator. Hopefully the generator works better.

Bought this a while back. (it was a replacement for the on we originally bought) We have not had to use it much yet ( which is a good thing) We just had it wired to our service box. Trusting the Good Lord to work out all the details on weather or not we have to use it or not. Not Sure Of the purchase date.

After the preparations the literature gives you, and allowing the battery to charge overnight, this generator fired up with only one or two turns of the starter!! Checked all my electrical outputs, and all are as advertised. I wish it weighed half as much, and was half as loud, but now I’m just whining!!😁 Overall, I don’t think you can beat the capabilities this unit offers, at this price, and a three year warranty!!

This Westinghouse generator is a very powerful generator with a lot of versatility. I really like the opportunity to be able to use two different fuels (and potentially a third with a modification) to power my home in an emergency situation. Additionally, this generator carries a lot of affirming reviews online, which further adds to its reliability. Many of the unique features, product support/manuals, and attention to detail noted on this review page made this a great purchase. All this being said, however, I've only really run my generator to make sure that it's working because I haven't had to use it in an emergency yet. Though I really do like this generator and it does have favorable reviews, I still ran into issues when I first started it. Part of this is my fault, but I didn't run it when I first received it. I put gasoline in it and started it a few months after my purchase, and it wouldn't start. Because my family was moving and I focused on other priorities (again, my fault), I didn’t call support until just over one year after purchase, and I wasn’t able to get it serviced under a full warranty. However, I was able to reach a compromise with the helpful representative, and I got new replacement parts (a carburetor) sent to me for free that I then installed with help videos from a few different sources. The representative was helpful, and I thought their customer service/ticketing system was helpful as well. After the installation of a new carb (which is can be a common issue from post-factory shipment and storage), the generator ran like a champ. In summary, this is a great generator that I got at a great price, and I think it will prove very useful in an emergency situation. However, I would recommend starting it shortly after purchase to make sure you can resolve any issues before the warranty expires. The company will definitely work with you; they stand by their products.
