Purchased this after Hurricane Laura devastated our SWLA and we were left without power. It was estimated to be several weeks before electricity to be restored. This generator exceeded our expectations in keeping my home cool and the food from spoiling in the fridges! A few weeks later, it got us through Hurricane Delta. Running this full time for weeks was an economical and efficient option. Would definitely recommend.

This is an Awesome Duel Fuel Generator, I have a 400 gallon Propane Tank out back so it was a no brainer to get the DF Model.It runs my Central AC, 2 Ton Unit, Refrigerator, Chest Freezer, lights ,TV,etc.We will be more than ready for the next hurricane!

I love the push button and remote start options. I had a little trouble with the On/Off rocker switch the second time I used it, but after cleaning the contacts it is working as it should. If not for that little hiccup, it would definitely be 5 stars. Reasonably quiet for a traditional generator with this much output power.

The pull, button and remote start all very easy to use. I like that if you are finished with it for the day, you can stop without going back out to the generator. Remote has a good distance. Change over from propane to gas is very easy; it runs a little rough as it makes the switch, but in a few seconds it goes back to smooth operation. Great features for the investment; it is a bit heavy if you are looking to load it into a truck, definitely a 2 man job. But if using a trailer and ramp, not too bad.

Your Duel Fuel 9500 generator replaced our older gas powered one (different competitor) that failed during a snow storm. Our son had purchased one from you and highly recommended your company. It is so much easier to start, as the old one required a manual pull (hard for older people!). Love the remote start feature, too!! Thanks so much!!

I just received my new generator and I am impressed by the dual fuel options. More important it is so easy to start with the remote or the push button. While you still have the option to pull start, it is awesome that you do not have to. I am going to purchase another for my mom.

Master Electrician recommeded this specific Generator, worked great. Our home is all electric in Tx where the electric grid is infamous. Dual fuel is ideal - 100 lb tank of propane and 5 gallons of gas should take care of us for a few days in survival mode. To Maximize efficiency of generator, I cut the load by Isolating recepticles for fridges on one dedicated circuit and Internet power & routers, TV etc. on another dedicated circuit. Now with breakers for things we don't need flipped of, and 5 of 22 breakers on, it never trips a breaker even with the electric heat pump running. Careful when choosing 240V cord to connect for Home back-up, 90° plugs are difficult to plug in because of relative location to wheel. If you can find a straight one, much easier to use.

Bought this a month ago due to the "Power Safety Power Shutoffs". I'm in the Tehachapi Mts at 5000 ft. If you live in high elevation I would suggest ordering the high altitude kits as every 1000' in elevation yo will notice a decrease in fuel efficiency. Remote start works perfect. Easy assembly. Ran 10 hours on 2 gallons of gasoline. Ran a refrigerator, freezer whole house LED lights and AC with no problems. Had an electrician install a interlock to connect to panel. 2500 sq ft home.

Just purchased this generator, and of course the power goes out at 4 am , my husband and I decided to un pack and set it up with flash lights & a few battery operated lights , it didn't take long to set it up an hour & 1/2 max. It started right up , as soon as we got it running the power came back on . We decided to hook it up to the home anyway. Plugged it in , shut off the main to the home , switched the breaker for the gen. Boom it started right up with no problems. Great purchase . I'm sure it will get plenty of use.

I just bought this generator and was impressed with how well built it is. The instructions were very easy to understand. The setup amounted to installing the wheels, connecting the battery power cable, adding the included oil (took the full quart) and adding the gas. Turned the gas valve ON and while holding the choke open (cold start), I hit the start button and it started right up. I tested it on a few circuits in the house and had no issues. I can't wait for a power outage this winter so I can give it a full test. Very satisfied so far.
