Im not mechanically inclined and was a little intimidated but that fsded away as soon as I read the. instrructions! I wanted a generator that I could count on in an. electrical blackout. I hooked it up in 20 minutes. It purrrrs and I hope I never need it. I feel very secure knowing the 9500 is a few. steps away

The components are top notch, the assembly took less than 15 minutes, and this generator looks amazing. After months of research and narrowing down my options, I decided on this generator and I am 100% satisfied. There is a reason this generator is on back order.

Needed something to power the whole house and this generator did not disappoint!! I hired an electrician to install a transfer switch from the outside to the inside. Test it out with propane and it ran smoothly without any problem. Keep in mind that you should test run the generator to keep the moving parts and oil from isolation.

Easy to understand the controls. The manual is coated so the paper does not fall apart. I like the carrying handle very safe. The Generator was well packaged for shipping. I love the dual fuel feature. I have a 500lbs propane tank with a quick disconnect fitting installed. Just plug in and start-no mess of spilled gas.

This generator has everything I needed for a home backup generator. Dual fuel, four 120-amp outlets, and one each of 30/50 amp and equipped with electric or manual start. This generator weighs over 200 lbs, but I found it easy to move around due to the heavy-duty handle and wheels. The first time I started the generator our local outside temperature was well below freezing. It fired up immediately. I tested it out with a few different power tools without any issues. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I love this generator. I had an older one and decided to upgrade. After much research (there are so many options out there), I went with the WGEN9500DF Westinghouse. I only recently started to use it but find all the functions easy to use. The duel fuel option is nice as is the electric and remote start.

I purchased this mostly for emergency purposes and the rare camping trip. Fortunately, there have been no emergencies to review its performance over hours or days. I found the documentation to be very thorough. Setup was easy and instructions for operations easy to follow. I purchased a dual fuel model since I purchased it for emergency purposes. As such, fuel needs to be stored. Since gasoline has a shelf life, even treated, its nice to have the option to run on propane. Not only does propane store indefinitely, but it is safer as well. I also liked the convenience of the remote start. I did my research and read many reviews and this one came highly rated. I will try and return to update my review when I get a chance to use for an extended period of time. But I have no doubt this will perform to my expectations.

I bought a smaller Westinghouse iGen4500DF about 3 yrs. ago and found with a small display problem they Westinghouse warranty made simple how it check it. I did that check and found it was bad not a lose connection. I called them back and the sent the easily to replace part in about 5 days. I am happy with there standing behind there product. I have not yet started it (Wgen9500Df) as i just got an hour ago, but with past experience with them I am looking forward to my 2nd Westinghouse gen.

The WGen9500DF is very well made and easy to move. The 9,500 running and 12,500 peek watts is sufficient to power my entire 2,900 sqft house, even the 4 ton AC with breaker management. Easy to store in the garage and pull out for quick hook-up in a power loss. Just move outside the garage door, hook up a propane tank, and plug the 50 amp cord in to feed the breaker panel.

Your Duel Fuel 9500 generator replaced our older gas powered one (different competitor) that failed during a snow storm. Our son had purchased one from you and highly recommended your company. It is so much easier to start, as the old one required a manual pull (hard for older people!). Love the remote start feature, too!! Thanks so much!!
