I purchased a 9500 K Duel fuel, smart switch Generator that had damaged..The good news is we are working with Jeff at Westinghouse, so that we can resolve the problem and it truly was nice to hear from Jeff and I am sure we will flourish throughout the years to come.. Bought the dual fuel generator for security and peace of mind we can weather any storm and power outage that comes our way. I can crank it with the push button start without waiting on husband to crank it. Hope this will last for years. Feels solid and well made!!

When going for emergency back-up power don't short change your self! I did a lot of research which resulted in a great choice - the 9500DF. You won't regret buying this powerful, full featured generator. Unlike some competitors this one comes with wheels, handle and battery plus the adapter for propane tank. I bought the extra power of 9500 running watts so the engine will not strain under 7500-watt load. . I barely notice when i turn on a 1500 watt space heater. Fill the oil on a level surface and you may need a little more than what comes with it. Even though it has an automatic choke when using the remote, I found the manual choke led to faster starts. I couple with a 10 circuit, 30-amp transfer switch and feel confident that my family will not be left in the cold and dark this winter -all at far less cost than a standby generator.

After moving into a new house and losing power for the first time, we bought this generator. All of our neighbors have generators so we expect to get a lot of usage. It was easy to unpack, mount the feet, and install the wheels. The provided funnel was easy to use while adding oil. Started right up for our initial test run. Pairing the remote start was a breeze. After shutting it down and going inside, with a push of the button it was started back up. We are ready for the next time power goes out.

I purchased this after a recent storm that left me without power for 6 days. Not going to happen again. The unit is super easy to operate our of the box. Step by step instructions for getting it ready. I tested it after prepping it and it started right up. We're ready for the next power outage.

Bought this unit to supply power to essential appliances in case of power failure for extended periods and to power the camper when using it off grid. Everything seems to be working fine for now, however I have not tested this product extensively or for prolonged periods of time. So far I am pleased with this product.

The unit runs great. It was very difficult to start initially, but once I realized I needed to hold the choke manually due to the extreme northern Michigan cold she started right up. I was able to run more than half my house during an extended power outage, but it would not run the furnace. I need to install a capacitors the furnace to 'clean' the power coming in. Looking at reviews this seems to be a common issue with some furnaces and not really a knock on this genny. The ability to switch the bonded ground relatively quickly is a bonus. I love that the manual is highly descriptive and includes all info required to maintain it yourself (spark plug gap, valve clearance, etc).

I've been studying and researching generators for months, and found that the Westinghouse WGen9500DF is by far the best all-around generators made. Not only is it duel-fuel but it also offers the switch plate along with other convenient bells&whistles which make this generator super consumer friendly for the common family to use and rely on.

I got this generator as a precaution and peace of mind during the hurricane season in Florida. This machine is easy to assemble and sturdy, and when it comes to operation, having the flexibility of using gasoline or LPG is an added relief during bad storms that take out gas stations and hinder fuel delivery.

I bought this generator online 2 days ago and it arrived today with no damage or blemishes. The assembly was easy and the User Manual instructions were accurate. The generator did not start the first time via the push button electric start, however it did start after manually setting the choke and using the the pull start. After that the electric start has been working fine. Based on some user reviews I expected this generator to be louder, but it's quieter than my riding mower. I tested a few power tools with no issues. If it's possible to edit this review I will, once I get a transfer switch installed and put a higher running load on it.
