Did reviews and ordered this unit 5 days ago. Arrived this morning with two helpful and happy delivery men into my garage. Followed quick set up directions for putting wheels on, adding fuel and oil - 10 minutes max. Hooked up propane line and tank then added gasoline to tank. Turned over a few times but would not start on gas…(duh) I forgot to choke on initial gas start up - moved choke to full choke and unit fired right away . Turned off choke and unit remained running - let run on gas for 5 minutes then toggled fuel switch to propane, switch went well and continued to run on propane for 5 additional minutes. Everything was as advertised. Have not hooked to house yet but expect no issues as everything so far worked or was included remote key fob worked, oil funnel, assembly tools, wheels and propane line. I bought this recently for a back up for my house and boy does it deliver. I even had my hot tub running and 2000sq ft house running as normal. Of course we are all energy efficient being in California but non the less it is more than enough. The only thing is that is is a little bit loud but I fixed that by building a box with a fan and well ventilation. Helps a lot of you want to run 24/7. Glad we went with this instead of going the very pricey route.

Extremely pleased with the purchase of this Generator. The quality and packaging is outstanding. I had the unit assembled and running on propane in 20 minutes. The electric start and dual fuel capabilities are two of the features that drew me to the purchase. I plan on using the generator for back-up power supply and will be installing a 10 circuit transfer switch to run part of our home during power outages.

Still setting up but I am sure it will power up what I ask it to. It is a replacement for a Onan 5000 that was / is 39 years old and still running but getting scarry just starting it so time to retire it and move up to a bigger generator. Like I said I am sure it will power up anything I want and if it lasts as long as my onan I will be happy.

Recently purchased the Wgen9500DF and was amazed as to how simplistic its operating method is with respect to the power capabilities it produces. Very well made, and very heavy. Power will not be an issue when the storms come through. Alot of machine for your money.

I bought this in December being a single female I had I am very excited about this product, trouble getting people to help me to get it up my Hill that I live in , it is extremely heavy but I'm excited once it gets going when the power goes out I'll have power and heat thank you so much.

I bought for backup electrical power. Had my house wired up to receive load directly to main service panel. I conducted my first operational test and the generator worked flawlessly. I calculated the load to run in accordance with the break in period in the owners manual. The generator itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The operating panel is not too busy, very well oriented, and labeled very well. There is no doubt about what button does what. The owners manual is very well written in plain simple language, anyone, especially engineers [ I am an electrical engineer], can read. Additionally, I appreciate the regular maintenance checklist Westinghouse provided. No need to write one out yourself, Westinghouse did this for you. I chose the dual fuel generator. Due to where i live the tri fuel didnt make sense for me. Gas and propane is plenty. Even the lower propane running watts is plenty. The two fuels allows me to comfortably have 2 weeks of fuel on hand with my current storage. Additionally, Westinghouse has your safety in mind. The unit was very well labeled with caution tags. Warnings and cautions are also very easy to see in the owners manual.

Received in July. Fired up and ran great for break in on 1 gallon of fresh gas. Tried to start again for power outage related to Hurricane Ian, refused to start on 5 gallons of fresh gas. Tried around 20 times. Switched to propane, ran great. If warranty works with me to fix problem, I'll edit to 5 stars.

I bought this generator a couple weeks ago. We have not tested loading it up with connecting to our home but set up was easy. We did a test run with gas and propane. No problems. Push start is awesome! This generator is much quieter than expected. Nice surprise! Would recommend!

Been waiting for a long time to get a generator....I was intent on the ability to run on propane as I don't get along with gas engines very well. This has the dual fuel and all the features I wanted. The WGen9500DF will run everything I need and is wired through the house power panel. Big Pluses all around. I highly recommend...and Westinghouse is a great company with a good reputation.
