I bought this generator for our Houston house since we didn't want another freeze or hurricane to affect our power. Living in a patio home makes a permanent generator not a viable option. With this portable generator, we can feel better about the crazy Houston weather since we'll have AC, refrigerator & lights on.

We received our generator in good shape after shopping and comparing for weeks. It is as advertised and is easy to operate. I wanted something powerful, but that I could use without requiring a pull start. After going back and actually reading the instructions, we were able to get the push start going. Very easy to start and no fumes when running on propane. It is still loud, but will be fine in the garage. I will be able to run most of the house off of this.

This unit has been in very high demand recently. I researched many options for some home standby power. I have a bulk propane system so wanted a dual fuel unit. This fit the bill. Very stout built generator. Looking forward to many years of good service.

I bought this generator a month ago for my lakehouse. There aren't too many electrical outages but have a reliable generator is reassuring! The generator started right up on the propane....so nice to have electric start! Overall a give this Westinghouse generator 5 stars!!!!!

used 1 month. Feet keep falling off. foam on handle is nearly falling off. Battery switch stopped working. Warranty contact is faulty (they do not respond in a timely manner, been over a week with no communication after a ticket was created). CO sensor keeps shutting machine down when running outdoors.

I bought this Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator as an upgrade to a 4400 watt generator that I have had for a few years. I wanted one that could power the majority of my home and this is just the powerhouse to do it! The dual fuel feature is a must in my opinion. You never know which type of fuel may be more readily available in the aftermath of a storm. The fuel source can be switched from one to the other on the fly which is very nice. This generator is extremely heavy duty and very well built. The remote start is also a very nice feature. I would absolutely recommend this generator to anyone looking for some serious power from a high quality unit. Get it, you will not be disappointed.

Bought this in the middle of major ice/snow storm that left us without power for a week. Great product, easy setup, started on first attempt. Great features with electric/remote/manual start options. Product seems well built and Great option for dual fuel usage. Thankful for the peace of mind this has and will provide moving forward.

I pull are large travel trailer by myself and needed something to run it off grid. It ;arrived timely, was easy to assemble and the key fob works great. My 70+ year shoulders couldn't pull the cord on the old generator anymore. The only poor planning was the 50Amp plug-in location. The wheel prevents the non-flexable 50 amp trailer cord from plugging in and staying in. I've ordered a short cord 50 amp to 50amp adapter. If it works ad well as I hope I will up my rating to 5 stars.

We experience power outages several times a year in Houston. This last Beryl encounter was "the straw that broke the camel's back!" I purchased the WGen9500DF with the sole purpose of it being able to run our 3.5 ton AC unit. I plugged into our 50 Amp inlet and the unit handles the AC and all other essential electrical requirements at our home. I couldn't be more satisfied with the purchase!

Brought product a week ago. Surprise how quickly it arrived and the simplicity of its assembly. Being a dual fuel product, I was amazed at how easily both started the generator. I would highly recommend this particular model(WGen9500DF) to anyone that needs a generator.
