I purchased this item after Helene because we were without power for over a week. Looked for a reputable named generator. After searching online saw this Westiinghouse generator and with the features and sturdiness of this product, was above my expectations. Dual fuel and remote start- did not disappoint. Have already used it for ice storm. Works like a charm the WGen9500DFc will give you added peace of mind.

Purchased this generator for its ease of use. Was easy to set up with the parts and instructions provided. Started up easily using the push button start. Liked that you could shut off the fuel supply and use all of the gas in the carburetor before the unit shut down. Was not too loud. Noise level was around that of a lawn mower motor without the mower engaged.

Generator come very well packed nonetheless is very heavy. Be prepared to have someone with muscles help out unloading at home. It come with kit to add tires for easy transfer, husband had to purchase oil for it. We have yet to use it but looks like great a d ready to cover us during power outage.

I bought this after installing a transfer switch to power my house in case of a power outage. I tested it with the AC, pool equipment, washer/dryer, etc. running and it handled everything with ease. Turns on easily. It is heavy, so difficult to manuver, but the long handle does a good job to keep it stable - even on steep slopes (like ramps to a shed).

Bought the WGen9500DFc in prep for hurricane season. Just test cranked it and everything checks out. Seems well built, wheels and handle are solid. I am a fan of the 40A/240 outlet and the 30/250 twist lock. Remote/electric start is not necessary, but a very nice addition. I expect this generator to provide many years of service.

After doing quite a bit of research. I decided on the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc. I'm very happy with the purchase. Getting it up and running was pretty simple and user friendly. I highly recommend a generator with the Duel Fuel feature. It runs great using either gas or propane. And switching from one to the other is seamless. Love the remote start and push button starting capability. It's great to get your generator started with the push of a button, and not having to pull your shoulder out. The control panel is easy to see and readily accessible. After seeing mine, my neighbor bought the same model. It's an excellent generator, I highly recommend it.

After being in so many power outage due storms ( Derecho) my husband decided to get this unit. Out the box is easy to put together and use the remote start is a charm. We try to run the air conditioner and some appliances fridge and worked fine Now we are looking to put an inlet box so we can connect to the panel so we dont have cord running through windows or doors. Overall is a great investment

I bought the 9500 last year, but had an easy storm season, so I never took it out of the box. Henri' was heading our way, so my son and I opened the box and set it all up; it started on the spot! I couldn't find info. on how much oil it held, (1 quart), and that was the biggest hassle of putting it together; pouring ever so slowly and checking what felt like every ounce 'til it was filled! The remote start works around corners, YAY! Now I'm on a roll and are planning to install a generator interlock into our breaker box. This is all a response to Sandy; 2 weeks; never again. My heart always goes out to the southern states who always take the brunt of the yearly, hurricane seasons. Stay strong!

Happy with the ease of set up. Tried generator on both gas and propane. Both worked great! Generator started right up after adding oil and fuel. Easy to start up and like the idea of an alternate way to start it with the pull cord. Very happy with the purchase.
