I bought this after an ice storm that took power out to my house for 9 days. I had it connect to a house house power inlet and it worked great for at least the first month (tested a couple times). Stored it away spring through November and figured I should pull it out today to test to see if its battery was still good. The control panel was totally dead. Battery tested normal, just cant get the thing to start via any method (manual, push button electric, remote, auto choke override). Hopefully Westinghouse fixed my issues and if I'm able, I will update this review. If it worked the way it did in my testing, I would happily give it a 5 star review.

I purchased this after losing power for a week during Hurricane Ian. This year with Hurricane Helene and Milton there was again extended power loss. This generator powered my entire home (minus the A/C unit) for 7 days. Maintenance was quick and easy limiting down time.Run time on a full tank at about 75% was 10+ hours. It was so simple to operate, my wife did it. Highly recommend

I haven't used it yet but I'm prepared for this years hurricane. There are a couple of things that I'm excited about on this generator. First, It's a push button start or key fob. As a back up it does have the manual pull start. That I hope that I never have to use .At my age, pull start is just to difficult. Second, is that it is dual fuel. I love that fact that it runs of propane. That makes storing it so much easier not having to drain gasoline out of it. The instruction manual is very detailed. This is my first portable generator. I feel confident that I can run it properly.

I purchased this generator almost 2 years ago and I love it. It is capable of powering our entire home. It starts first time/every time and it simply does what it should do. I use propane vs gasoline, as the storage life of propane is longer than I will probably live.

I was looking for a generator to run my entire house. After long hours of reviews and disappointment at other stores, I purchased this WGen9500DF. The set up was a breeze. I am so glad I found this make/model. I am at ease now about long term power interruption. After set up I metered out the output V and it’s spot on.

Better than a whole house generator and cheaper, runs on propane and gas, auto start with automatic switching devise. Can run up to 10 circuits (maybe more but only have a 10 circuit box). Starts with touch of a button, very very happy with generator and price. Highly recommend for any homeowner.

Bought this generator receently to replace our 20yr old unit. Was received on time and very well package, no shipping damage. Added oil, hooked to propane tank, connected battery and she fired right up !! So nice to have electric start!! No more pulling the cord until your shoulder hurts , and the remote is a very nice feature! Unit seems well built, hopefully will last a long time.

I BOUGHTT THIS IN MARCH OF 2023 AFTER HURRICANE LEFT US STRANDED WITHOUT POWER. I MUST SAY IM IMPRESSED WITH THE FEATURES. REMOTE START/ BATTERY VHARGING PORT BUILT IN AND COMES WITH A SMALL BLOCK TRICKLE CHARGER. RUNS MY ENTIRE HOME INCLUDING CENTRAL AC WHICH WAS ONE OF MY BIGGEST REASONS I WANTED A GENERATOR AND HOOK UP TO MY HOME.

I got this generator about 3 weeks ago & was planning on test driving it this weekend. The power company gave me an excuse this morning with my power going out. I plugged this into my transfer switch, flipped to generator, started it up & my home was fully powered. So worked as I'd hoped it would. A little bonus I either missed in the description or it wasn't there is, it also came with a remote start fob! It started 1st time & ran till my power came back on 7 hrs. later. So big thumbs up!!

I bought this for back up power for my home, didn't want anything big and pricey since we don't lose power a lot or very long. This unit fits the bill perfectly, starts easily for my wife and the remote is nice. The option of dual fuel, I don't have to worry weather I have fuel for it. I haven't used it much yet, other then put fuel and oil in it, and starting it for the first time. But everything worked like it should and fired right up, in addition the noise level is not that bad. Just waiting for the power to go out to see how well it will perform.
