The last 3 watermelons purchased at Sam's in Champaign, IL were fermented! Sam's use to be my go-to for crisp, sweet melons. I'm not sure what is happening this season. :-/

Bought this watermelon a few times, it's never crunchy red and sweet, mostly rubbery, and not sweet, I usually eat some, throw the rest, but today I ended up actually making the trip to Sam's to return it, because I've just had enough of this bad watermelon, when I cut it, it was really white inside, and I was like...that's it! I don't recommend, and will not buy again.

My Mother and I both purchased one over a week ago. They were both excellent quality and so delicious. I still have mine cut up in a container refrigerated of course and it is still good. Made great smoothies, fruit pops, and healthy snack for my toddler and family!

Had a watermelon delivered yesterday. It was so heavy. It was $5.92. Great price. The problem with the watermelon was beyond ripe. To the point that none of it was edible. Dry in some places and in others it was like mush. Very disappointed. Flavor is so bad that I am throwing away all of it. Most of the vegetables I have delivered have been very good. Wasted $6.00

I bought this watermelon two weeks ago. this for my first time. Whoever bought a watermelon, they were lucky if they were sweet, the watermelon that I bought had no flavor whatsoever, I literally threw it away because I didn’t wanna make another trip to go get another one at Sams. If I could score this, I would give it a zero score. I’m sorry to say but I love my watermelon and I bought other watermelons for other places. Some of them might’ve not been that sweet, but they were OK to eat, but this one was not, I did throw my receipt away so I think I could’ve gone anyway to Get another one, but I didn’t wanna have to go again. I was really disappointed that it was my first time. That ruin my chances of buying another one

I bought a watermelon 2 days ago. I am in northern Ohio. Yes I understand they are shipped in. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!! This watermelon is TERRIBLE!! It literally had no taste. No sweetness when right in the center. I wasted almost $7 on this. NEVER again will I buy a watermelon from Sams. We couldn't eat any of it. Yuck!! I just cut it up and took it out to the woods on our property and dumped the whole watermelon for the wild animals. Won't surprise me if they won't eat it either!!

I bought this item On Monday and when I went to cut it open it was bad. I took a picture and I was afraid to eat it. So i just tossed it. Any chance I will be able to get a refund if i tossed the item? I didn't want to keep it in my home until tomorrow or when I would return to Sam's.

Definitely not seedless not even close to seedless, infact I think their was double what is in a seeded large watermelon lol. It was sweet but grainy and the seeds were so small it was a hassle to sit and take them out. Threw it in the trash so you got me Sam's but won't buy anymore watermelon ever from you.

Ordered to pick up at the club Tuesday. Cut it Thursday afternoon and it appears to have been refrigerated so cold that the rind was mush up to the meat. If the shopper doesn't know how to store the produce once it's been picked, they should not be putting together orders.

This watermelon is one of the worst I have ever purchased. It looked good on the outside with a yellow bottom and it passed the tonk test but turned out to have extremely tough insides with very little flavor. It was very grainy and hard to cut or chew.
