Tasteless

Sam's used to have the best watermelon. Everyone couldn't believe such great tasting watermelon came from Sam's. But the last 2-3 years they have been horrible! They are almost always overripe and easily half of it is not edible. Thought I would try it again with this purchase but I had to throw 3/4 of it away as it was rotting already. I no longer buy them at Sam's. So disappointed.

Although we were able to eat about 1/2 of the watermelon that was tasty, the other half was rotted, very soft and inedible. It can be tricky with watermelons, which is why I look for the large yellow spot where it was growing from the ground. The lines on the melon have significant knowledge on the taste and this watermelon had all the signs of a tasteful and fresh watermelon. I usually would return it for a refund, but time got away from me and I just threw it out.

Purchased many watermelons in June, July and August. On the 15 of August purchased 2 more melons. When I got home cut one open and it was 85% mush and water. Figured I just picked a bad one. Threw it away, cut the second one, which was picked from a separate crate, and this one was worst than the first. Total waste of money. Btw, daughter in law also purchased one, when she cut hers open, it to was rotten. Never again!

I've had three watermelons from Sam's Club this summer. One was a gift, the other two I purchased (those that I purchased were delivered, so I had no part in selecting the watermelons, but whoever chose the watermelons did an amazing job!) All of the watermelons that I've had from Sam's Club this year were at their peak of ripeness: sweet, juicy and crisp--so refreshing and such a perfect way to cool off in these summer months. I know it's the luck of the draw sometimes when it comes to watermelon, but I was impressed with the quality of the watermelons I have had from Sam's Club this year.

Worse watermelons I have ever brought at Sam's Club. I bought six or seven melons this year, each melon brought further disapointment. In years past Sam's sold good to decent melons, but not so any longer. I will no longer buy melons at Sam's, enough is enough....such terrible melons!

This is the worst one I've ever get there this year..I thought I chosed the best one with the yellow spot...correct form and strips..it works usually with these descriptions..but not this time! The watermelon was white inside..tasteless and bizarre! just threw it and wasted $6!

Learned the hard way to pay very close attention to the stickers! The small White stickers are GROSS! Horrible flavor. 3 whole melons a full disappointment and $18 wasted! Now them Green Stickers, now that where it's at! They are so sweet and perfect! Buttery bottoms!
