Awesome Potatoes at an Awesome Price

By far the best potatoes I have found. These potatoes are nice and big and not green like the ones in the grocery store. They also seem to keep a lot longer before going bad than the supermarket variety. And did I mention the price? They are definitely a must buy!

Disappointing Purchase

I was slightly disappointed in this purchase because the 1st 3 potatoes I pulled out and peeled were riddled with bad parts enough so I couldn't use them. The rest have been good. It just so happened that the bad ones were the 3 biggest in the bag. I was going to bake them and stuff them with bbq meat. I was sadly a little upset. I'm having trouble finding bags of good potatoes these days.

Best potatoes for any potato need!

These are the best potatoes for baking, mashed potatoes, french fries, hashbrowns, boiled potatoes, etc. Easy to shave or wash, cut in half and save half for later if smaller appetite. I bought these from Sam's before and thought the taste was off compared to Walmart or Harps but now it's all I buy. They are great and naturally gluten and dairy free. I definitely recommend! Whatever problem there was before is gone and they are consistently good quality.

Great size potatoes to make into twice baked!

This is such a great size of potato for a twice baked one! (yes, I make them myself -- better than the ones sold in freezer packs). This way I can add the herbs, cheese, flavorings I want to each potato. Plus, with this size of a bag, I had enough to prep in advance all the twice baked potatoes I needed (through 1st cooking), freeze them for the week, and then pull out the night before holiday dinners! (so it saves me time/effort!). All in all, a great purchase for me and nothing goes to waste.

Russet baking potatoes (10 lbs)

Not as huge as what I used to get with the 15 lbs bag of potatoes but still a decent size. Ironically the price is the same as what the 15lbs bag use to cost when I first started buying them at SAMs. However, I’m willing to trade less potatoes for an affordable price. It’s the sign of the times the world is going through. Bottom line, the potatoes were decent and worth what I paid, definitely recommend.

Best potatoes in town!

The potatoes are the right size for family. Don’t have to worry about peeling so many small potatoes for family size meals or 100 plus group gathers. I normally buy four or five 10 pound bags for the funeral meals our church ministry provides for the family of our deceased parishioners. Potatoes are not overly ripen nor have any rotten areas on them and are excellent for those meals we prepare.

Russet potatoes

Great for baking or roasting. I microwave min by rubbing it with oil and salt in the microwave (choosing potatoes) it comes out great. Since it is a very large bag, I bake and smash the potato's and freeze it. Take out what you need and warm it in the microwave, top it the way you like it. No waste.

Tastes good

Cheapest potatoes I can buy at Sam's Club. I buy them to make french fries at home. It tastes good. But I come across some damaged or rotten ones once in a while. I suppose the farmers do not have control over it in terms of spotting them before bagging.

Rotten Potatoes in This Latest Bag

I have bought these potatoes several times without incident. This last time was a bust though. Had to get a refund. I noticed a few gnats in my kitchen. Then I noticed they were interested in the potatoes. UGH! Several of the potatoes in the bag I had just bought (curbside PU) were bad, really bad. I guess the gnats came in with them. I had to break out the big bug zapper to get rid of them and threw the potatoes away, all of them. I'm trying again with a new bag today. I'm hoping stock has been turned over and fresh are out this time. If I wind up with rotten taters again, I'm giving up and buying somewhere else. I only knocked one star off because this is a first time for this to happen.

One rotten potato can spoil them all!!

It's just sad that a company has to cut off part of a potato to get to that %2310lb mark, really? This guy was at the very bottom of the bag I just bought last week. Guess this explains why my last bag of potatoes got rotten before we could even eat any while I was out of town. It's a chain reaction, once there's one rotten one, they will all turn rotten!!
