I purchased a little over a month ago. It started easy the first couple of times it ran about an hour each time in between oil changes for break in. I went to actually use it on a camping trip and it would not start. So I opened the cover and like many others I found the electronic choke wire off. I Locked it into place and put covers back on and it has ran great every time since . And it is quiet.

I waited until I used this generator to write this review. Getting the generator operational was very straight forward as the instructions in the owners manual are well written and easy to follow. We used the generator to run the air conditioner on our RV this past weekend. The generator noise was not a factor as we slept in the RV. The remote start is a great feature. We are satisfied customers.

I purchased the igen 4500 inverter a year ago for my travel trailer. We have camped primitive with it over 20 times without any trouble. The larger capacity fuel tank allows it to run through the night without having to refuel, and has enough power to run the whole camper including the microwave.

I bought a iGen4500 for my camper. Very convenient remote control!! Just turn off 110 volt main breaker, push the start button, wait a few minutes & turn the main breaker back on. That simple. Same for turning off. Turn off breaker & let the inverter cool off for a few minutes, then push the off button on the remote. All from inside the camper. Plenty of power to run everything. May not be enough for a 2 AC unit camper but very capable for my needs.

I pulled a Champion generator out of my race trailer and installed the Westinghouse iGen4500c. It was the best decision I have ever made. The Westinghouse generator runs my a/c unit and my pit lights with no problem. It is so quiet you can hardly hear it running in the pits. I am very impressed with this product!

Additional review- Generator is great, runs my fifth wheel without any problem. Love the remote start. Only complaint is that is louder than advertised. They advertise 52db but is closer to 70db when running. That is when it is running on the auto and low power draw. A little louder when the engine rpm’s come up with increased load. Still haven't received my free generator cover though. Generator is still 4 stars but down to 3 stars because of 2 reasons- no cover received and the offer is for a frame generator cover, not the cover for this generator. Seems to me if you are going offer a free product because you purchased something, you would get the appropriate product for what you purchased!!

Using on a RV and power tools.The front panel and digital data center provides information regarding remaining run time,power output,fuel level,and voltage making it easy to check performance at a glance.It is as quiet as advertised and is a great bargin for the price

Only had one month. Have not used it other than for familiarization of unit ( Starting, Letting it run, Applying electrical loads to it etc.). Right out of the box the LED gas gauge was not working properly. It read half full when completely full and empty when below actual half full. As of now Westinghouse it taking care of issue. It happens. Starts quickly and is as quiet as a Honda.

I’ve been borrowing my buddies Westinghouse IGen 4500 for several weeks now and I have been extremely impressed with this generator. I recently bought my own, my family and I like to camp off grid in our rv as much as possible throughout the year. This generator has been able to keep my air conditioner, all my appliances, plugs, lights, tv, and some other equipment running at one time during the summer and does everything I need it to do in the winter aswell. It’s very quiet so you can have it running at night while everyone is sleeping without bugging or waking anyone. It shipped to me in perfect condition and required very little work to get the generator started and running. I give the westinghouse IGen4500 5 stars because it deserves it.

After months and months of research, my husband decided on the Westinghouse iGen4500 generator. We could not be more excited with how smoothly the generator fired up. We are excited to take it out camping this next week and try out the remote start/stop feature!
