After months of comparing features and reading reviews and watching youtube videos, I decided to order the Igen 4500. I chose this generator because of it's 4500 watt peak capacity for use in our RV, and also emergency use at home. Setup was easy and started up first time with no issues. Love the remote start.

This generator is just as quiet as my Hond@ 3000 was but way more features and more power. To be fair it doesn't have the same quality feel as the Hond@, the Hond@ has a steel enclosure and this one is plastic, but at less than 1/2 the price (less than Hond@ 2000 watt) this has all these EXTRAS: (1) Fuel gauge with remaining run time, (2) Wheels! (3) remote start with auto choke. (4) built in battery maintainer. (5). load meter (6) Higher capacity It's a no brainer!

I ordered this after losing power to an ice storm . Although I haven't lost power since purchase , I do have peace of mind . The generator is so quiet and has all the features I need to run our heating and refrigeration in the event of a power failure .

Bought last month and seems to meet the requirements. Brother-in-law has an equivalent unit by Cummings that worked well for powering an RV recently. This unit seems slightly louder than I remember his unit to be, but it is very much acceptable for our purposes.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Some folks mentioned a choke issue in reviews but I had zero problems. It started right up out of the box. I love the display panel and all the information it gives you plus the 30A hookup for my camper is fantastic!! My only complaint so far is that the oil drains into the case then drips out of a hole in the bottom. It's chambered in a way to keep oil from going everywhere so it's not a big deal, just not what I expected. Plus it's tight quarters in there! but everything seems to be accessed easily enough and what did I expect from an enclosed generator anyway?

I uncrated the generator, read the instructions, filled it with oil and gas, hit the button and it started right up. I was amazed at the low noise level. I loaded it in the back of my Honda SxS and went to work with saws, fans,etc. I bought this unit after hours of research to run my two AC units on our camper for remote camping. It preformed flawlessly with both units running. I cannot stress how happy I am with the overall design and the quietness. Great machine I would recommend to anyone. Remote start/stop is the only way to go. Keeps you out of the weather.

This has been a great addition to our RV and hasn't failed us during our cross-country trek. The unit provides the needed power to run the fridge, outlets/lights, and the AC without missing a beat. The best feature besides the remote start is how quiet the unit is!

I did some research and decided on the Westinghouse IGEN4500. It's a great size for our needs to go camping and/or as home back up for power outages. I ordered it online and it arrived packaged well and started on the first try. So far I've only ran the break in 5 hour period and a mock run for a power outage. Performance was excellent! Received this as a gift. Put in the oil and gas and it started right up. This is replacing a Ryobi 2200 that I bought for my travel trailer. The generator is well built and the owner's manual is well-written, which is not always the case with power products. This will be a big improvement over the Ryobi. I can't wait to take it out camping.

Received the generator, unboxed, connected battery, put in the oil and gas an wham the unit started on the first try. It will run my 30 amp motorhome with no problems. The only issue with this generator so far is the 30 amp RV plug is installed upside down. That was an easy fix though. It's light enough I can pick it up by myself. I would recommend this generator to anyone.
