Happy to have finally purchased this for back-up power. Very easy to start with all of the following options: remote, push button, pull cord. The only problem is that this unit came with an outdated manual. Found the correct and updated manual online.

Just barely out of the box, started up great with the pre-charged remote battery. Selected this unit for the clean power feature to run PCs, TVs, freezers, etc at home during power outages so as to bot damage any electrical equipment. Only feature it's missing is a multi-fuel/propane option (therefore only 4 stars), I don't believe they offered one with that at this time. Will be back later to update rating after more use.

I bought this in July, prior I had a Honda IE2000 with whisper quiet mode. When our camper got bigger so did our power needs but we didn't want anything really loud. After buying this I'm beyond impressed the quality is great, easy to lift and move with the wheels as well as the remote on off. But most importantly it's QUITER then the Honda was with more then double the power.

This generator is Great it has plenty of power and it’s super quiet it has a nice big fuel tank, It ships nicely and bonus it comes with oil, a funnel and a little tool kit and even a charger for your on board battery overall a very very great value.

This generator checked all the boxes for me including wireless starting, quiet, large fuel tank. Because of my extensive research I was well aware of the problem with the auto choke. Since I am capable of fixing it, I went ahead and bought it. Mine did have the problem with the disconnected auto choke wire as well as my connector was broke. After I fixed the connector the generator ran fine. I did the proper break in which includes installing a magnetic oil dipstick and running the generator under various loads drain oil and repeat. The pictures below show the metal particles that were collected by the magnetic dipstick during the break in. Look forward to many years of service.

I just bought the i4500 a few weeks back. After hours of shopping and comparisons this generator had all the features I wanted to power my travel trailer when boondock camping. The wattage, electric start and 30 amp ready is perfect for what is needed.

Came in great condition, Followed instructions, Would not start, Called helpline and they picked right up and were amazingly helpful, they emailed me a service bulletin that was pretty easy to follow, Aparently the choke gets stuck after being stored and transported. All I did was move the chock, and it started right up. It has started ever since, I have started it probably 20 times with the push button start and also the included remote control. Seems to work well now. I also ordered the high altitude kit for it that costs $18. For the price this generator is great, and has way more perks than the Honda. My unit came with the 30 amp plug facing the right way, and a remote control. If it will continue to run like it is right know I would give it a 5 star. I am giving it a 3 star just because it would not start at first, and had to call the company.

We had problems starting the generator even though we had read the instructions. It stated oil and gas wasn't in the generator. However oil was and we got too much oil in it and had to take some out. In the package there was a container of oil which was not full. In fact the whole box was oily and so was the generator. Had to wipe everything down. Finally after couple of days we finally got it started and took it camping. 1st night it ran great and enough wattage to run AC, all lights on and microwave going. 2nd night had a problem having generator turn on and had to deal with the choke and got it running. After getting home no problem turning the generator on.

I bought this generator yesterday and found the break-in procedure easy to follow and execute. The generator performed great in its 1st 5 hours of break-in loads and use. Love the features especially the ease of mobility. Looking forward to many years of good operation.

I have had nothing but problems with this generator. I bought it to use with my RV. Fron the beginning, the run-time readout didn’t wotk and it kept tripping offline under light load. I finally took it in for warranty repairs and found out that inly the parts are civered under warranty, but, the labor is the big expense. The repair shop was not avke yo get the run- time indicator working after replacing parts and many hours of labor. They suggested that i “just look in the tank” to see how much fuel is left. I am now on an RV trip and can’t get the generator started. Spend the extra miney and buy a reliable generator. Don’t get stuck with a piece of junk that won’t start when you need it!
