Remote Start! So convenient.

So far, have no complaints about this.  Haven't had a need for it yet.  But what I see, I'm impressed with.

I bought this to use on my motorhome for my wife's dialysis cycler which needed a inverter generator. This unis will do the job it was purchased for.

Light weight, easy to start, very quiet

Works great!  Did have to re- plug in electric choke connector but they gave good honest instructions.

Great for price. Same features for less.

Waited nearly a year for this item to be restocked and it was definitely worth the wait. Electric start is a plus!

I already have used this generator 4 times due to power outages., in my area and each time it performed very well. it is also has great fuel economy

The unit failed at 4 hours of run-time, it went into overload mode and shut down completely, with no status screen function. The specs looked great, and initial use seemed to work well, but upon actual use, it was a big disappointment. The customer service was very helpful, and it was quite a pain to drain all the fluids so I could return it to the store.

4 Hours as generator, then it became a brick

I purchased the iGen 4500 for camping and the ocassional home power outage. I'm impressed with how quiet it runs compared to my old generator and the retractable handle, which helps to move it around.

Depending on where you live or camp, you'll need to contact Westinghouse to purchase the high altitude kit. If you live or camp at an elevation of 2000 ft and lower, you don't need to swap out the jet. But at any elevation higher than 2000 ft, you will need the high altitude kit for proper fuel-air mixture. 

Westing house responded to my email in just hours, and I was able to order and receive the kit within a few days. Westinghouse has a simple tutorial video on their sight with step-by-step instructions on how to swap out the carburetor jet that corresponds to your altitude. My auto mechanic told me he swaps them out frequently for many different brands, but it's not difficult to do it yourself to save money. He was right, I watched the video and swapped it out myself. 

A quick note if you swap jet out yourself, I placed the hardware in plastic sandwich bags then labeld each step. It made it easier when reassembling.

I've been pleased with my purchase. It's a nice little generator.
