Great product so far other than changing oil. Very difficult location to work on and keep from getting excess oil in bottom of unit.

This is a good generator. Powered my a/c unit in my camper, ran an electric skillet, and a fan at the same time with no issues.

Needed something quieter than our champion generator and this is it.
Convenient handle makes it easier to move around. Highly recommend

Quiet-er

After on year this is the best generator I have owned by far.
You will not be disappointed with it.

Haven’t used much yet but everything looked good out of the box. Looked at a lot of brands but this one had the best fuel capacity/run time

So fsr so good . Not as quiet as a predator , takes more fuel also , but all in all , it's a good generator

I love how quiet the generator is. The remote start is an excellent feature and even the handle for moving it makes transportation easy.

Great generator at a great price

I purchased the Westinghouse iGen5000DFcv Dual Fuel for our RV. We look forward to going off the grid with our new generator 😊

Love that it is dual Fuel

The unit failed at 4 hours of run-time, it went into overload mode and shut down completely, with no status screen function. The specs looked great, and initial use seemed to work well, but upon actual use, it was a big disappointment. The customer service was very helpful, and it was quite a pain to drain all the fluids so I could return it to the store.

4 Hours as generator, then it became a brick

I purchased the iGen 4500 for camping and the ocassional home power outage. I'm impressed with how quiet it runs compared to my old generator and the retractable handle, which helps to move it around.

Depending on where you live or camp, you'll need to contact Westinghouse to purchase the high altitude kit. If you live or camp at an elevation of 2000 ft and lower, you don't need to swap out the jet. But at any elevation higher than 2000 ft, you will need the high altitude kit for proper fuel-air mixture. 

Westing house responded to my email in just hours, and I was able to order and receive the kit within a few days. Westinghouse has a simple tutorial video on their sight with step-by-step instructions on how to swap out the carburetor jet that corresponds to your altitude. My auto mechanic told me he swaps them out frequently for many different brands, but it's not difficult to do it yourself to save money. He was right, I watched the video and swapped it out myself. 

A quick note if you swap jet out yourself, I placed the hardware in plastic sandwich bags then labeld each step. It made it easier when reassembling.

I've been pleased with my purchase. It's a nice little generator.
