I did extensive research on several similar sized units. I wanted one that was quiet. The display, the size and weight of the unit, the remote control, the battery start, and the gas consumption efficiency all played into my decision. The review said there was a common problem with the choke, but I figured I could deal with that. I wish it came with a tender that you could keep plugged in, but the customer service rep said to use it for a max of 8 hrs. The battery is just like a motorcycle battery so I will buy a tender for it. It makes no sense to have to plug the unit in just before you need it in an emergency. I have only run it a couple minutes, but I'm hoping the reliability is good.

Bought this after realizing I needed a reliable portable generator when a hurricane passed through and cause an extended power outage. This generator started up first try, with the remote key fob and ran quietly. I am looking forward to the next outage to put this machine to practice.

I purchased this Generator to run a 34ft camper. The generator does well for me only having one AC unit. The generator is quiet and operation is great. Easy to setup and get going. Had to change the main jet out due to high altitude. Westinghouse gives good directions on doing so. Hope generator to last for many years. Highly recommend.

I purchased the iGen4500 on June 1st 2021 for the upcoming hurricane season. I have two neighbors that always provide electricity through extension cords but I had concerns about the "cleanness of the power coming through. I was attracted by the iGen 4500 long running time, quietness and impotantly, the clean power provided by the inverter

I bought this a month ago received it by delivery about 7 days later. I finally unpacked it she ran great. But once I put a load on it later in the week it kept bogging down and surging . The only item I had power to was my boat air conditioning all the other breakers were in the off position. The ac would come on but the temperature controller would blink out every time the Gen bogged down. I look at the power output it was just .83 showing on the display. Maybe it’s just a defective unit. Yes I would recommend to a friend

I bought this after hurricane Helene and was just able to unbox and use it yesterday. it's a great little unit. Easy to put together and get going. the remote fob works really well. It works well with my sisters Travel Trailer. and is really quiet! Well done on the design.

The dimension specs were very important because I need it to fit under my hard tonneau cover for transporting it while towing my 5th wheel RV, so it can be covered and locked, perfect fit! The noise level is important and it is extremely quiet, very pleased. I've been breaking it in before I travel with it to make sure it does the job, randomly putting loads on it to change the rpm's. It ran for 22 hours on a tank of gas and never ran out, very efficient! I turned it off after about 6 days of random run times and changed the oil. The oil change process is a little messy because it's in a tight access area, so I'm glad I did that at home. Overall I'm extremely satisfied. The generator is packaged well for shipping, the box had a good bit of damage to it. The styrofoam packing was even damaged inside, but the generator is in perfect shape.

Good features: nice generator and fairly quiet. Bad: The generator came with faulty carburetor and the repair took over 3 months. The amount of oil in the bottle that came with the generator is larger than the generator holds, so not knowing that, I've spilled it over. The manual shows wrong picture of the front, so starting it was a challenge.

We bought this because my in-laws have one and love it. They live at low elevation and we weren’t sure how it’s do at 8000’ plus, but this thing is awesome. Super quiet and we can barely hear it when inside our trailer and it runs everything at once. The remote start is fantastic for making coffee in the cold mornings!

Arrived across the country in 8 days. Box was in near perfect condition. Added oil, gas, plugged the battery in and it started first try. Purchased this to replace my Honda EU2000 that the inverter failed in after 4 years and very little use. So far so good.
