We received delivery of our generator today. We watched videos prior to purchase and yes...we read the manual too. The generator started up after two attempts oon the electric start. After that it started with just one push. We carried on a conversation standing next to the generator without having to raise our voices. Decibels was a main consideration in purchasing this generator. We plan to use to power our 5th wheel camper. We have one A/C unit. My wife and I are able to lift it as well. That was another consideration over other heavier models. Nice panel display.

Bought this for our travel trailer. Great purchase runs everything in our trailer. Love the key fob, easy start from inside the trailer. Another great bonus is the pull handle, makes it easy to move around. The quick setup was so easy, simple instructions add oil, hookup battery and add fuel and you are ready to go! Simple!

Was a breeze to get started with zero hiccups. Smooth running. Neighbor wanted to know more about it and said how quiet it was. When I first added a heavy load it said it was being overloaded so I lowered the load and allowed the generator to run for a while. When I added the bigger load back the generator handled it well. This generator sips the fuel instead of gulping like the others I have used which means less trips to get fuel and less fuel cost to run. I wanted a inverter to be able to power electronic devices. I can power a 8,000 BTU A/C, a large refrigerator and large freezer as well as a few electronic devices and lights. If I need more power I'll purchase another Westinghouse inverter generator that will hook up in parallel with my igen4500.

Got this the other day and was disappointed at first due to the fact that it stop running shortly after starting. So I took off the Main access panel for the engine and move the choke lever. It ran find after that. But the next day it would not start. So knowing something about engines I could see that it has an automatic choke, so took the other side panel and traced the wire coming from it to find the choke wire was disconnected, so I hooked it up and restarted it. Been running fine so far no issues. So far as sound it is quiet, but maybe not as quiet as the one Northerntool sells.

This Generator will run my entire 5th wheel Rv, the only thing that wakes it up is the electric hot water heater, But I can run it on propane. The generator runs the Ac, Fridge, Flat Panel Tv, Dish Network receiver, 1100 watt Microwave and on-board converter and practically never gets off an idle. It is quieter than the 2000 watt Honda Inverter that I have been using and can run multiple appliances at the same time. Awesome.

This generator is lightweight and powerful. It's light enough that my girlfriend and I are able to lift it into the back of my truck without a struggle. It powers our camper when we're out in the woods but doesn't disturb any nearby neighbors with obnoxious noise. Overall, im happy with this purchase and think it was well worth it.

I bought this generator as a suggestion from a fried that has one. Best selection ever, I can start it myself(short woman) in 3 seconds, light weight, easy to turn on and off from inside the trailer. Very efficient, runs several hours with a full gas.

took it along on its first camping trip and worked beautifully supplying not only my trailer but my sister's trailer as well due to their generator failing. Supplied power all day with just a tank of gas and did it quietly with minimal noise. As advertised and then some!

Having weathered an unusual freak winter storm in Texas back in February, we thought lets not get stuck without power ever again. Having been RVers for years we've tried all the generators under the sun. This is the best yet and we're so glad we went with the igen4500. Its solidly made and easy instructions to follow. A quality product for sure. We're hoping to never use it but the Texas power grid is already stressed and we're only 2 weeks into June.

After a lot of research I decided to go with the iGen 4500. After receiving my generator , I did the break-in. Two oil changes with no load and one oil change after 25% load (that's with the A/C(13500w), TV, Radio, Refridge, and all lights running on my camper) turning on the microwave it would go to 75% load. Gotta say no issues, except for overfilling oil and having to clean up that mess. It has started with ease with all 3 methods. Since it's my 1st generator, I'm hoping for many many years.
