I bought this for camping and have used it around the house for activities and it can easily run everything I planned to plug in. This unit is easy to start and runs very quite. Under advertised is the handle and wheels which make it really easy to roll it around.

Out of the box it took less than 10 mins before we were up and running. Very manageable for one person and so quiet compared to my last generator - such an improvement! Do yourself a favor and add the oil slowly and in phases. My generator didn't quite take the full quart. I plan to use this for my camper and as a partial home back up generator. So far so good!

Two of my fellow campers have the iGen400 and are very happy with them. They both use theirs to run the AC's and electrical appliances in their travel trailers I finally made the plunge and got me one too. It worked right out of the box. The auto choke worked great on the first start. Can't wait to use it in the woods without getting out of the RV. The remote start will make my morning coffee that much better.

Very easy set up (I'm a widow and on my own and was concerned about being able to handle it by myself). It's pretty heavy (about 100 lbs.), but I was able to get it out of the box with only a few grunts. The directions were clearly explained for the initial set-up and it even came with the oil needed. I haven't run it yet, but am confident that it'll be exactly what I need.

Bought this for camping hoping to find a generator that wont keep the whole block awake and not pay Honda money. It is even quieter than I expected. The pull handle and wheels make it very handy to move. I would like larger wheels for loose gravel but that is nothing compared to what you get for your money is this package. Would buy again without hesitation.

I resently used my son- in-laws Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I am elderly & was able to operate on my own. So I ordered myself a Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I love the remote, on & off button, pull handle & more. I could have got a bigger one but wanted one not too heavy to pull so I could be pretty independent! Thank you

It is exactly what I expected ... decently built and very quiet. Started right up after putting in gas,oil and connecting battery.. Runs very smooth and starts easy, can't even hear it .. had lots of power .. the oil will overflow if you use all of the bottle like it says ..very satisfied so far

First start went into overload within 5 seconds nothing plugged in. Rough running sounds like auto choke doesn’t work. Apparently common problem from factory that they know about but haven’t fixed. Less than 2 minutes run time an needs to be serviced to use.

This is a great generator but it could use a few more features. It comes with everything you need to get started and everything is pretty easy to use. I do have some suggestions for improvements: The access panel to the engine/choke should be something really easy rather than unscrewing a bunch of screws. If your battery is dead, then you need to access this compartment to put it on full choke before you start with the rip cord. Also, people rarely use their generator everyday so it will be in storage for some time. The manual then suggests to remove the fuel from the float, which again, you need to get to it through the access panel on the side by unscrewing everything. This should be really easy to get to. This inverter generator is quiet but don’t expect it to be whisper quiet. My neighborhood home lots are 40 feet wide, and my neighbor would definitely hear my generator on, even on eco mode. Overall, I’m happy with the generator and it’s great to have some peace of mind.

I bought this Gen to power my travel trailer when we can't connect to shore power. We love the convenience of the remote start feature. In the morning, we just hit the button and we have power for the microwave and the coffee maker. We max out the power output on the warm days with the a/c, w/h, 120v fridge, and microwave, (and of course the tv) running at the same time. It handles the load just fine. It lowers rpm's nicely as the load changes which is nice as the loudness diminishes as the load decreases. Still trying to figure out how to change the oil with ease and no mess. With the outer covering, it's hard to replace the oil without a mess. That aside, would recommend to anyone needing this much power to be off grid.
