I bought this in case of severe weather. It has been sitting for 4 months now, just put the oil and fuel in, connected the battery and it fired right up. Not nearly as loud as I thought it was going to be. Will be starting it up monthly from now on. Maintenance instructions seem to be pretty straightforward.

When I received my IGen4500 off of the delivery truck, it took me 20 minutes from the time I opened the box to starting the generator. The instructions that came with the generator were very clear. I now have 12 hours on the generator with no issues. It runs my entire travel trailer.

Had this generator almost a month now I do over the road trucking and generator does exactly what it was made to do highly recommend getting this generator to anyone looking it’s light weight the pull handle is a big help I use this for my ac microwave tv and my power tools

so I'm not going to lie when I first bought the unit I was super mad because it was leaking gas. I got my mechanic skills going and notices the carburetor valve was not tight so I turned it and not the generator is working like a champ. Can't wait to see what this bad boy has in it.

I bought a second i gen 4500 to hook up for parallel power to get 50 amp. I still have to stage turning on 2 ac units despite the 50 amp paralleled power. It runs a bit rougher than the first one. Trips the breaker evey once in a while. I will take it to the service center and see what happens. The biggest issue is having to change the oil every 50 hours. That is not convenient to do while camping. The access panel needs to be bigger to allow for an easier change of oil.

Started easily by cord. button, or remote. Loaded with Shop vac, saw and iron (simultaneously) during break-in. No problems. Changed oil after one hour and two hours as precaution to remove any machining debris, since no oil filter. Appreciate info display and quiet operation.

I needed a generator that was reliable and easy to start. I am on oxygen and need to keep the machine going even in a power outage, and also to power the refrigerator and freezer for a long outage. this one seems to meet the requirements that we have.

We bought this to use on our 2016 Springdale camper went with a 4500 needed the extra for the air-conditioning kicking on and off works great it is so quiet you can’t even hear it when you’re inside the camper at night and the energy saver mode is the most saves on fuel five stars

I opened it up and it looks great!! Fired it up and it is so quiet I can have a normal conversation standing next to it. Used a circular saw and the bolts didn’t move nor fit it really get any louder. I then took a few steps away and couldn’t even hear it. Went inside and it was silent inside. Awesome generator so far! I was looking for quiet for camping and I didn’t go wrong. This thing is quieter that a Honda at 4x the cost of this.

The Good - This unit is ultra quiet! Long runtime. Love the display! The Bad - My unit arrived with scratches all over the plastic housing due to handling. The Ugly - Oil changes are difficult due to the location of the oil drain plug. Westinghouse can improve this by making the oil change door opening larger.
