This deck box was easy to assemble with a few tools. It looks stylist and sturdy on our front deck. We are keeping under the roof of the deck to extend its life. I like that it is made in the USA!!! It holds four full cushions with room for a small tote with essentials like paper towels, bug spray, candle, etc.

Perfect for storing equipment and tools outside. Easy to assemble. However, I needed to drill out one of the hinge bolt holes, get the bolt thru. Perhaps caused by me not fully seating one of the side panels. You might want to hold off screwing in the four side screws until you have confirmed the hinge holes align; if you don't have a drill handy. No big deal and the unit is water tight.

Nice storage box, lots of room to store charcoal, grill tools, gardening supplies. Had big rainstorm a couple of days after it was put together, so I was able to determine if it was waterproof, it was. Just make sure you have full wrench set and socket set, which you will need to put together, it will take some time about 90 minutes.

We love the hinges, will definitely stay closed. Fits our lawn chairs and umbrella. It really is big and will hold lots of outdoor items. We built a cart with wheels, to size, to make it easier to move around, didn't want to damage deck or container by dragging it across the deck.

After reading many reviews finally decided on the Lifetime 130 gallon deck box. Was a little leery after many reviews said how hard it was to put together. Shipment arrived within 4 days of order. Package was in good condition on the outside. After opening package all pieces were intact and in good condition, Reviewed online assembly instructions along with the written instructions in the box. Written instructions not really clear but online instructions helped a lot. My 6 year old grandson helped me assemble box and took us about an hour. All pieces went together fairly easily and fit well. Would suggest before you start screwing the corners (attaching the side pieces together) make sure and push in the front and back panels to the side panel and make sure they are as level as possible before inserting the screws. I think this helped make everything square so that the lid closed perfectly on the first try. This thing is huge, grandson layed down inside of it and still had lots of room on each end. I did seal the inside and outside seams and tabs with silicone to keep water and insects out. My wife and I both sat on top of it at the same time and there was very little if any bowing. Would not recommend constant heavy weight but especially kids sitting on the top occasionally should not be an issue. Cordless drill really helpful to put the screws in since a lot of the holes either were barely punched or nothing, but the screws go right in easily, just don't overtighten. has not been out in the hot, direct sun yet but I plan on having it under roof most of the time anyway. Very good looking. Both hinges are identical so I had to flip the hinge pins on one of them but hinges work well and lid closes securely. You have to lift just off to either side of the tab for the padlock to open lid but on closing you feel an little click when it is closed. Overall would recommend this deck box and I would buy again.

I purchased the 130 gallon outdoor storage box in late 2019. Assembled easily and was very happy with the quality, fitment and finish. Well, in the summer of this year (2020) I had a squirrel decide it needed to find out what I stored inside the box. The varmint preceded to chew to large holes in opposite corners of the lid. Bummer right. Figured I would contact Lifetime to order a new replacement lid no matter the cost because as the box sat it was now just going to fill with water anytime it rained. So, I called Lifetime customer support and left a message with my contact info so as they could return my call as soon as an operator was available. CS returned my call within 45 mins. a the gentleman that called was just as kind and helpful as could be. I explained my situation with the squirrel and without a single trace of skepticism he promptly took all my mailing information, did a quick search of the part number of the lid and again, without hesitation told me they would be sending out a replacement lid within 2 days....and get this...FREE!! Yes FREE!. This included shipping cost and everything! Wow, who would of thought. I commend Lifetime and their customer support for being just a great American company! Thanks, you made me a literal Lifetime fan for a lifetime. Will promise to only purchase this type of item without hesitation when the time comes and will reccomend this great company to anyone else I come across looking for a quality product supported by excellent customer service. Thanks again. M.G.Roesel

This is a very nice deck box. It is very well made and was easy to assemble. I keep yard equipment inside, shovels, pick axe, post hole digger, a maul etc. A lot of very heavy tools and the box didn't even flex. It allowed me to downsize the amount of clutter in my garage. Great box!

Well made quality product. Assembly was fairly easy, a rubber mallet and power screwdriver is a necessity in my opinion. Watch the product video before starting. Bought this for storing my lump charcoal, wood chunks and other smoking/grilling accessories on my patio. Plenty of room.

I had a Lifetime 130 gal. deck box for a number of years now. It matches our deck and house perfectly and has stood the test of time really well. Last year squirrels chewed on the lid, but because of the double wall construction we’re not able to get in. We decided to replace the lid this year for cosmetic reasons. The new one is on the way thanks to great customer service at Lifetime! Could not be happier with our original purchase, or with Lifetime customer service. Thank you!

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised It is easier to put together with 2 people due to its size. Take your time to fit the pieces together and it will be sturdy and waterproof. A very good product for the price. I would definitely recommend. I had it shipped to my home and took others advice on letting the plastic pieces warm up in the house before trying to put together. Would buy again!!
