the hinges and gas shock cylinders were damaged by a severe wind gust blowing the lid open. The lady in customer service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Walked me thru the repair procedure and then had the parts shipped free of charge. Just cannot beat that.

I was able to slide the back panel into slots perfectly, but couldnt get the front panel to slide into place at all and had to get help from someone stronger. Even though I had the required tools, some screws were tough to ratchet.. In fairness, the manual recommends 2 people to put it together. The size and color were perfect, and good value comparatively speaking.

I bought this Outdoor Deck Box years ago. The hinges broke and I called the company. I was advised that the company would honor the warranty. The parts arrived-Free of Charge-in a short period of time. I appreciate a company that is easy to deal with when the need arrives. Thank you.

I bought this a month ago and put it together by myself. Some of the bolts/screws that went through the metal pieces needed extra encouragement. After grabbing my socket wrench it was a breeze to put together. It holds all of the back and 3 inch thick seat cushions from 4 chairs. I will know more come spring if it kept the mice from moving in.

I placed a call to your customer service department today regarding a Lifetime deck storage container I purchased appx 2 years ago. Unfortunately the back hinges of the deck box were subjected to the salt air and severely rusted both the back hinges that attach to the gas shock stabilizers. The gas shocks broke away from the exposed hinges not allowing the lid to stay open and slamming shut. Currently raising young grandchildren and concerned for their safety since the lid is heavy and was unable to keep it in an open position due to the rusted broken hinges and gas sockets. The actual container itself is in great shape. I spoke with your customer service rep Richard. He was the most professional, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and kind customer service rep I have encountered in a long time. Richard went above and beyond to assist my concerns I just wanted to write your Lifetime company and let you know how pleased I was with Richard and how well he took care of me. I have owned many lifetime storage containers and sheds in which I’ve been very please for many years. Not only is your product awesome you also hire awesome representatives to support your product. In theory this seems like a great buy—it’s a nice size and seems like it would be easy to put together. However, it is not clear which screws go where since they are not labeled and the screw diagram doesn’t distinguish them. Even the YouTube video doesn’t show which screws go where. One of the cylinders would not easily pop on so that’s a problem.

Easy to assemble with the help of 2 You Tube instructional videos. Perfect for storing BBQ tools, patio chair and table covers etc. Lockable lid is a good feature. Lid is the trickiest part to attach, but does not require 2 people to do it. Caution against over tightening screws and bolts into the plastic.
