Love this deck box. The only caveat would be that it is not easy to assemble. Needed to sand away some excess plastic to slide panels together and needed to drill a number of pilot holes to insert screws. Once assembled though it is big, sturdy and looks good. I also went an extra step and caulked all seams to ensure it is weatherproof. Highly recommend this. Ive owned other deck boxes. This is the best.

Easy to assemble with the help of 2 You Tube instructional videos. Perfect for storing BBQ tools, patio chair and table covers etc. Lockable lid is a good feature. Lid is the trickiest part to attach, but does not require 2 people to do it. Caution against over tightening screws and bolts into the plastic.

Fast shipping from Walmart. Easy to put together and has a lot of storage space. It hasn't rained yet so don't know if it will keep the rain out, but it appears that it will. It looks great on the patio and is sturdy. It is even lockable with a padlock.

I bought a deck box 2 1/2 yrs ago. The box looks new still but the hinges had rusted making the top not close correctly. I called customer service and they sent me a brand new hinges and all the accessories to repair the box. AT NO CHARGE!! Now that’s a great company!!! Thanks Lifetime

I purchased the 130 gallon chest over 2 months ago. When I finally found the time to put it together there was a defective part but the customer service rep went beyond what I expected to make sure I got replacement parts. Once received, the box went together quickly and easily. I'm a very happy customer.

Pleased with the aspect of its being sturdy and waterproof (to store sports equipment, chair cushions, tablecloths) and able to be set more or less inconspicuously along the edge of the patio. We don't use it as a bench, but you're supposed to be able to. It can work as coffee table/hassock or as a surface to set things on if you're not opening and shutting it frequently. Price was quite reasonable. Came quickly and in good order.

The plastic sides were just slightly bowed, probably from heat, and all joints did not mate correctly. I missed that until the end and it was too late to correct. Sliding to walls and base together with all lock points engaged is critical. Overall it will work fine as outdoor storage. Still looks fine despite having to bang walls with mallat to get a fit. Only German instructions in box but I am technically inclined. Had to pay real close attention to which holes got screws and which did not. Like the spring action on the lid and size. Picture show those critical mating points on the bottom. Poorly designed IMO.

I bought this a month ago and put it together by myself. Some of the bolts/screws that went through the metal pieces needed extra encouragement. After grabbing my socket wrench it was a breeze to put together. It holds all of the back and 3 inch thick seat cushions from 4 chairs. I will know more come spring if it kept the mice from moving in.

I was so exited when I saw the quality. It was so heavy and appeared to be a great product. First out with the instructions and away we go. Problem 1 there were hard pieces of dark plastic blocking the holes where you slide the sides down in 3 different holes np. My husband took those off because I couldn’t get them off as they were well attached. Easy next step insert sides, side 1 piece of cake problem 2 side 2 would not go into insert. My question should the insert be bigger or panel insert smaller so we took apart panel 1 and tried it as we all ready knew it was the right size. Doesn’t fit! Now I have a 130 gallon storage box sitting in my living room waiting for a new panel ffs can no body do any thing right anymore. Then we proceed to put the screws in place so I can finish it by myself when the panel comes. No indent for screws so they tend to go crooked. There are only 2 indents and those went in fine the rest were stressful. I have bought many unassembled items including bbqs and have never came a crossed such poor workmanship for such an expensive item. Pay more get more is not at all the case with this. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars if for quality which I would say is a 5 star. Very disappointed!

Difficult to put together. Plastic tabs were mis-molded and need to be trimmed to get pieces to fit. And, as of today, we still haven't been able to get the last two bolts attached because the holes don't match up. These were not the only holes that didn't match, but the others could be forced to line up. Also, using the hand tools that are suggested would be torture, especially for someone who isn't accustomed to putting things together. Fortunately, we have the power tools necessary to do the job. You will, however, definitely need the mallet. I watched the youtube video and it is NOT as easy as they make it look. Maybe if there weren't mis-molded pieces and if the screw/bolts holes lined up it would have been better. Too much of a pain to return so we will figure out a way to get those last two bolts attached. The unit itself appears to work for what we need.
