But still dealing with high blood pressure even though I am on medication (Amlodipine Besylate and Losartan) for that. Cannot tell if it is helping general health or not.

It will be some time before I come back with another review as I just started these, but intend to have another blood test in a few months to determine if these, with some other supplements, are a viable option for me to get off the long-term statins.

As humans age mitochondria, which produce ATP, become defective and are eliminated through apoptosis. But the high cost of this is a loss of tissue function. The fine tuning of free radical leakage and effective mitochondria is critical - with the rise of defective mitochondria the load of free radicals in the cell rises. CoQ10 is a critical component of the electron transfer chain in mitochondrial respiration. I take CoQ10 for this reason and this product is functionally the most affective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a problem with significant muscle and joint pain and weakness in my upper arms and shoulders, the backs of my thighs, and my neck after taking atorvastatin for only about two weeks. When the problem did not entirely resolve after a few months, I tried other CoQ10 products with no noticeable difference. I tried Qunol Ultra CoQ10 hoping for better absorption, and noticed significant improvement in my thighs, and some improvement in my neck and arms/shoulders. Unfortunately, I had to have rotator cuff surgery for the ongoing shoulder and neck pain. I also seem to generally feel better and have more energy when I take this product, so I will continue to use it. Thank-you for making this excellent product at an affordable price. I have recommended it to my family.
