Double barrel compost bin

The only problem I've experienced is a rusted hinge. The build and quality are excellent.

This is the one to get!

Big, sturdy, easy to rotate. Having two sides is great.

Rust

Notice common theme, rust. Hinges have rusted through twice. To their credit they replaced first set without problems. Would make sense to make them out of brass or stainless. The name is life time.

Rust is the result of the oxidation of iron. The most common cause is prolonged exposure to water. Any metal that contains iron, including steel, will bond with the oxygen atoms found in water to form a layer of iron oxide, or rust. Rust will increase and speed up the corrosion process, so upkeep is important. Replacement parts are available and can be ordered through our Customer Service Department. Our Customer Service Team can be reached at 800-225-3865 opt. 1 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (MT).

Heavy duty

Been using ours for a bout a month. Its heavy duty and looks good. Easy to use. My husband put it together and had no problems. Delivery was quick too.
