This device simply does not work and in not engineered to turn and hold any compost. I am an engineering professor and we would never have let this leave the design studio. The sides fall off, the band that holds the device together does not do its job, and the metal parts are made of metal that rusts... a silly design for something that is intended to be outside and get wet!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material but we had trouble with the assembly. The instructions were not clear when assembling the panels of the barrels. Each panel has to go together in a certain way to attach to the side. The bottom pieces have a symbol to match. It would help to number each piece. We assembled it wrong and had to disassemble and start over because the place for screws didn't match up.

This composter is so easy to use and just make get hold everything our household composts

I wrote to Lifetime to inquire about replacement hinges on this composter, and they FedExed me a new set free of charge. This says a lot about this company and how they back their products!

Been using ours for a bout a month. Its heavy duty and looks good. Easy to use. My husband put it together and had no problems. Delivery was quick too.

The screws (BIR x12) are a few centimeters too long and will not allow us to “tighten nuts securely”. This has prevented us from finishing the build and the product has sat on our patio for weeks! Please let us know how to remedy this.

Notice common theme, rust. Hinges have rusted through twice. To their credit they replaced first set without problems. Would make sense to make them out of brass or stainless. The name is life time.

I love my compost bin but over time hinges have rusted. I would've gladly paid for replacements but Lifetime sent me new hinges for free. It's hard to believe real customer service is out there but Lifetime just raised the bar.

I have composted over 30 years. This is my fourth composter and I have to say I like it best . The instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were in the package making it easy to construct. I want to thank Lifetime for a job well done.

I have only just put this together but I can say it has the "Lifetime" Product quality I have come to expect. Looking forward to making some dirt over the winter for next year's garden
