I have had my double tumbler for years now. It has been perfect for our family, and I can't even believe how it has reduces our waste going to the landfill. The inside mechanism rusted, and they sent me brand new parts at no charge. It took a little to get the rusted parts off the unit, but all is well and we are back in business. I think this is a great product.

Our compost tumblers have experienced a few attacks from animals, since we use them at a cottage with a substantial bear and raccoon population in the area. We are very careful about what goes into the compost bins (vegetable matter only!), but keep in mind that our bears are better known for brute force than intelligence. After bears mangled the latches, Lifetime sent out replacements. Really appreciate it!

My opinion of the composter has gone from love to hate to love. I was delighted with the unit initially because of the ease of use, and the convenience of not having to turn the compost pile every week or so. The delight faded when the latching mechanism rusted and became difficult to open and close the access door. When I called to purchase a replacement mechanism I was pleasantly surprised when the agent offered to replace the hardware free of charge. When I asked the rep if they had addressed the rusting problem I was told they have powder coated the metal parts so there should be no further issues. Since they apparently have corrected the rust problem this has turned out to be my favorite method to create "black gold" for my garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using them for 6 months and am getting great results, easy to fill and keeping rats etc out, I am able to remove simple bins and my garden looks more organized and tidy. I also find it easy to load the compost into a wheelbarrow, I am developing raised beds and would not be able to fill without my Rotating Compost Bins . I also must state that it is so clean an simple to use. I find it easy to clean and keep using.

I bought the composter about a year or so ago, and have been very happy with it. This year, the hinges rusted shut. I contacted lifetime via email to see if they had hinges available. The next morning, I had a response saying that they had shipped hinges. I receive them within two days. Very satisfied with the resolution to my problem. I would recommend placing the composter on raised blocks, as it is too low to get a wheel barrel under to empty otherwise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this composter just over 3 years. Seems to be very sturdy but one door hinge did rust and break. May have annoyed me but Dany (CSR) had no issue replacing them. If I had a hassle I wouldn't have rated it 5 stars. Kind of expect things will not last forever but when they are replaced, it makes repeat business easy. In reading reviews it appears the hinges are the only problem. I might suggest stainless hinges. I would be happy to pay a couple $$$ more and know they would last. Would probably save Lifetime a few bucks in the end.

It took a little trial and error to see the full benefits of this. I have a large yard and use it for yard waste and kitchen waste. Initially I would put in too much wet green waste and it would get a little funky. I realized I had to add enough drier waste to balance it out. Now it works great and makes nice compost to add to the garden. Very happy with it.

I contacted LIFETIME to order some hinges, and they sent them to me FREE OF CHARGE. Wow!! I asked how much and they said, while they're not covered in the warranty, we'll send them to you at no cost! And EVEN BETTER--they even sent me new bolt covers and all the necessary screws and nuts--THAT'S ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product both on functionality--work perfectly after YEARS of use AND for their fantastic customer service!!

After years of trying to make good compost ,I came across this Composter . I must admit reading the article about Composter i thought it was to good to believe .But I still thought I would give it a go.As I have been trying to make good compost with various different methods off which none really worked..Well beleve me this Composter does what it says on the tin.It is just MAGIC. It makesGREAT compost which very little effort at all you just have to make sure you turn it regularly which is no bother.Gone hare the days of of back pain having to turn and empty bins and refill . thankyou gazza
