It worked pretty good, struggled a bit where the yard was higher then the side walk but it worked great in my driveway. I accidently dropped it on its side only about 2 feet onto the sidewalk and the side shattered which surprised me that it was that brittle. But compared to the price of a gas edgers, I would purchase this again if needed.

Bought it over battery-powered edger because it has four wheels on the ground and I do not have to support a heavy piece of gear, plus battery as part of the work load. My lawn is not continuous on the edges of the driveway and curb. There are bare areas. When operating the edger, it kicked up dirt in an arc that landed 20 ft behind and at least 10 ft in front. It's a good tool, easy to assemble and use, but it's not for the less-than-optimal condition of my lawn.

I was excited to work with this tool since I own a few others and they are outstanding. All I can say is, please believe the hype. This tool takes all of the hard out of lawn care. It's performance was everything I thought it would be and more. I literally didn't break a sweat. My neighbors have been continuously complimenting me on how gorgeous my yard looks. There is only one problem.....it performs so well, you WILL have people wanting to borrow it!!!

The lawn edger arrived in a box that was obviously repacked from the factory. The cutting blade was muddy and the bottom of the unit showed scratches where it had been run on concrete before. Everything about this shipment screams that this is a used product. I decided to test it out and keep it anyway since I'd been waiting to use it. However, I'm not happy buying a used product at new prices.

I bought this edger to replace one that I have had for many years and could no longer get the blade replaced. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the adjustable handle. It seemed to cut a wider edge which gives a better look along the sidewalk and drive. The construction is very sturdy and seems like it will last for many years to come.

Does a great job edging my driveway. Makes a nice straight line. A little bit of a learning curve. So glad this is electric, not battery powered. We have many WORX battery powered yard tools. Although they work great, the batteries have to be changed frequently. Just a couple of long, heavy duty extension cords and I was able to do a long driveway, front and back sidewalks. Recommend highly.

So far I love this Edger. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. I love the steadiness it offers as you propel it. I was able to get back the clean lines in my landscape! I am an older woman and do all the hard work myself, I was not able to manage and maneuver the gas powered edger we have. This device allows me to edge with ease. It is lightweight and I love that I do not have to worry about filling it with gas.

Paid $85 for this. My main complaint is the blade. It is undersized and has several prongs that may break off and become projectiles if you hit a hard object. I noticed that replacement blades have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I would not trust the pronged style blades. The stock blade measures about 1-1/2" X 7-1/2" and wears down rapidly. It was worn out after half a day of intermittent use. I have discovered that a plain, generic rectangular 2" X 9" blade easily fits this tool. It is much heavier and has a thicker coating. It is also reversible, and less expensive. It wears slowly and evenly, is self-sharpening, and will last many times longer than several stock blades. I find the motor to be very powerful, while the handle is flimsy and can be crushed. Many wear items - such as wheels and housing bottom are plastic. The controls work well. I noticed a little extra play in the shaft bearing, but this may be for heat expansion. A much better tool now that I won't be getting ripped off on replacement blades.

I was not too sure about the electric edger with the blade in the soil here in Tennessee being half sand and half clay but after using it to edge about 250 feet of driveway and walks I am extremely impressed by the power and features of this unit. I have always wanted an edger with an edge guide and am happy with the one that is provided. A straight edge is what we hope for and after just a little practice this unit is consistently adequate to the task and does not stall. My grass and soil had built up to the point where I just knew it was going to be a challenge. No problem! It went right through cutting the grass and digging a new groove like the best gas powered units I have wrestled with over many years. There is no worry about the ethanol gumming up the engine and you don't have to pour oil and gas into a thimble to get ready to work - just plug it in and goooooo! Love it, recommend it and will never go back to fossil fueled tools.
