- 5 out of 5 stars review1/29/2025I recently bought this generator and I was very impressed with the setup and ease of use. This is a powerful and really nice generator that will cover most power needs. I am planning on running it off of natural gas but am very happy to have the option to use gas as well as propane. I am also really happy it has a 50A plug that I plan to attach to my house circuit panel.
Great and powerful generator
Redline1969Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/20/2025I love that I have the options to use three different types of fuel. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I had thought I would have to buy oil and hoses but those come included as well. The wheels and handle come in very handle to make this portable. Overall this was a great purchase!
Great features and extremely easy to setup!
JR-DRCOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/20/2025This generator was extremely easy to assemble! I only had to install the two legs and the two wheels. It took me less than 5 minutes. The only thing that I had to add was the oil, but that was included. After putting it on its ends during assembly, I did not a tiny amount of oil. So be careful when you assemble this. Also know that the generator is drained of oil before it's shipped, but the QC test is done prior to being released for sale. It's proof they actually tested your generator. I would have given this unit a five star rating, but it did not come with a 50 amp connection. I was really counting on that, but my wife purchased this during Black Friday and surprised me with it for Xmas. Great product other than that! I hope I don't hav...
Easy assembly
KBeastOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/29/2025This is an update to a previous review. I initially had difficulty with the first startup of the generator. Westinghouse support helped me to resolve my issue. I am now completely satisfied, in fact delighted, with the my generator. I am an older person and would have difficulty with traditional pull start motors. The electric start is a blessing. Runs great.
Update to previous review
genopOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/11/2025Used for emergencies, so was sold on the tri-fuel that'll keep the gas tank empty. Successfully hooked up to my NG gas grill port, and runs great. So simple, and nice added features. Handle and wheels for easy movement, CO sensor for safety, switch fuels on the fly, and much more.
Beautiful, Flexible, Nicely Engineered
DIY JimOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/7/2025I just moved to Florida and wanted a reliable, high watt output for running essentials plus during hurricane season. This generator had great reviews; features such as electric start (a must for wife) also remote start/stop, automatic (or manual if needed) choke, 30 and 50 amp hook ups and a built in battery test / charge plug. I put the supplied oil in and some gas in it and it started with remote on the first crank. I'm happy with what I have seen so far. Hurricane season will tell me more.
Reviews plus many good features
Bob990Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/9/2025I bought this back in November 2024 and have used it a couple of times on propane. It starts right up and doesn't miss a best. The remote start is a game changer over my previous generators with the pull rope option only. I would definitely buy this again.
Great feature..
Lawdawg38375Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/8/2025I am recently purchased this electric start generator and it has exceeded all my expectations! The electric start feature is incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get the generator running with just the push of a button. It's powerful enough to handle all my household needs during power outages and runs smoothly without any hiccups. The build quality is top-notch, and it's surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. Overall, this generator is a game-changer for anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free backup power. Highly recommend!
Amazing product
Ern55Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/10/2024I wanted a carburetor not a fuel injection system. Not much was made clear to me in its description. This is just more electronic junk to go bad, including the remote, which is only greed. I did wonder why everyone in the US was selling these so cheap? Now I know. I had to change from the great generators I had been using to this! I hope it lasts through December. It has too many gadgets and they cannot even put the serial number on the manual... you have to go out in a storm when it arrives and find it just above the exhaust and try to write it down while breathing exhaust. I wonder what would happen in a storm if you were trying register it by breathing exhaust? Yet, there are thousands of warnings about everything. I am off-grid and...
the 9500c is misleading it is fuel injected

We’re sorry to hear that the generator did not meet your expectat... - 5 out of 5 stars review1/3/2025Kelly and I bought this because a couple of times a year we will be out of power for a few days. We considered a whole house generator, but we decided on a portable one because we may move in the next few years. We normally would need backup power during the winter so we wouldn't need to run the AC in the south. Even though this one would provably run the AC system. It was easy to assemble out of the box, put on wheels and rubber footing. Put in engine oil, fuel and it fired right up. We also have natural gas at the house, which would give us a more abundant fuel source. As gasoline could be scarce during extended power outages. I would buy this one again.
Great tri fuel generator
J J Hog FanOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/22/2025We've been wanting a generator for a while. Living in Texas, we obviously experience hurricanes and the struggle for the power grid to hold up if and when it ever freezes. With the antioated snow and freeze we are currently experiencing we decided to prepare and purchase a generator. We bought the Duel Fuel 12500watt and are so happy. It was easy to set up and use. Love the remote start. We had a converter switch and outlet installed and it was the best decision. We did a trial run and this little generator powered the whole house. Luckily we haven't had to use it yet but now we have peace of mind for when we actually will need it.
Great Features, easy to use!
NishiFamOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/10/2025This generator is awesome! It was extremely easy to set up and get running. Pop on some wheels, add some oil, and hook up the battery and it is good to run! Did I mention the best part? Remote start operation! Flip the switch and you can remote start it any time! Out of the box 10 minutes to get it running! A little louder than our last generator which was smaller but honestly not to loud! It think this generator is a great bang for your buck! Will update if I find any issues down the road
Quick easy and convenient
Steve94Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/9/2025This product was rated highly by previous customers, and I agree with those assessments. This generator shines with quality construction, intelligent and informative instructions, and ample warning labels throughout. Packaging was more than adequate to insure a perfect, unmarred product. It starts immediately using any of the three fuels and runs perfectly. Sold at a fair price and worth every penny.
Generator Review
JAM24Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/11/2025I purchased this generator a month ago and I'm definitely glad that I did. This generator ran my house for five days with no problems. The natural gas connection was a lifesaver so I didn't have to venture outside in freezing temperatures to refuel. The key fob start worked perfectly
Great features
Gentlemen JackOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 2 out of 5 stars review1/21/2025Unpacked this generator this past weekend. Followed the instructions. At first start, engin ran rough and then stopped. It restarted and stopped several times. Then after sitting for about an hour, I restarted it and it ran very smoothly. I let it run for approx. 5 minutes and then plugged in a refrigerator. The generator shut down immediately. I unplugged the refrigerator and restarted the generator. Haven't been able to restart it. Letting it sit overnight to restart.
Too new to be sure

T... - 5 out of 5 stars review11/11/2024Before I bought this Westinghouse generator, I compared it to comparable generators from other manufacturers. The WGen9500TFc was the standout with its higher running amps, the 50A outlet that could be used to connect into my home's electrical panel, and the push button start, which worked perfectly when I started the unit. Very happy I bought this generator.
Best overall generator in its class for my home
Hammertime80Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/27/2025First the good. Super easy to assemble. Comes complete to run on three types of fuel. Good assortment of plugs. Now the bad. This thing is heavy. It is on wheels, so that is nice. But if you plan to roll it on anything other than concrete, phone a friend.
Easy to assemble
CharlesFOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/14/2025It comes with all the options for heavy equipment connections to cellphones and a way to charge the generator battery if needed without taking the battery out. I got the GAS model but being able to get the tri-fuel system is great. really sturdy product. As a cherry on the top, the remote ON/OFF is another great feature.
Great generator very versatile and complete
Fercho305Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/19/2025I just opened the box for the generator 1st time setup today. The manual guide is straight forward and easy to follow. It took me about 2 hours from cutting the box to getting it running on propane gas. To be honest you would need extra pair of hands when installing the legs and wheels. Other than that everything else is easy. I'm happy with the purchase of this Westinghouse WGen9500Tfc
Everything you need for a generator
Yellow Tuna TXOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/2/2025Very easy to set it up and get it running! I also appreciate the fuel flexibility and the multiple power plug options. I plan to use this for back-up power to my house when the electricity supply is not available. I live in the country and don't have natural gas so the propane option is a perfecte fit!
East set-up & great flexibility!
