- 5 out of 5 stars review1/3/2025I bought this when my wife was pregnant as a precaution for the coming winter. We haven't needed it for emergency use yet but better safe than sorry. The setup out of the box was super easy and the operation panel is easy, even for a generator rookie like myself. Would recommend!
Easy Setup and User Friendly
JC11Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/22/2025Perfect to run my whole house in times without power. I know my family will have heating/cooling and running water with plenty of extra power to keep the refrigerator and freezer on. Wonderful peace of mind to have for emergencies. Break it in properly and it should last years
Great Generator
Bill McPicklesOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 2 out of 5 stars review1/21/2025Unpacked this generator this past weekend. Followed the instructions. At first start, engin ran rough and then stopped. It restarted and stopped several times. Then after sitting for about an hour, I restarted it and it ran very smoothly. I let it run for approx. 5 minutes and then plugged in a refrigerator. The generator shut down immediately. I unplugged the refrigerator and restarted the generator. Haven't been able to restart it. Letting it sit overnight to restart.
Too new to be sure

T... - 5 out of 5 stars review12/31/2024I just bought this unit and I am very impressed. It converts easily to a floating neutral, which is what I needed. It is also 50 AMP capable, also required for my needs. I also like that I can use propane, and easily switch to gasoline in a pinch. The remote start-up is also a really nice feature. The manuals are well written and the quick-start and maintenance sheets are outstanding. There is also info on the different oils and spark plugs that can be used!
Feature Rich
CatDadOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/15/2025Assembly and start up was easy. Took about 20 minutes to assemble and get started on propane. Ran it for about a hour testing random things for break in. Everything works great so far. Was quieter then expected, but with 50% load it may be a little louder.
Great so far.
Dman9413Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/5/2025Before purchasing this generator, I did some research and found Westinghouse to be among the most reliable, and the features of this generator met all of my needs. We tend to lose power quite often here in our rural neighborhood in Maine, so dependability is important. We're ready for whatever storms come our way.
Great Features, Reliable
MoparMikeOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/30/2025I upgraded to this 9500 watt generator because I wanted to power everything when the power went out. The booklet and instructions were very good, I appreciate the quick start guide, it is very good at guiding you through everything you need to know to get started without reading the entire manual. I like that it's tri-fuel, I didn't want to put gasoline in it just to set it up and try it out, so I used the propane tank from my grill to make sure that everything worked properly. After reading the manual I discovered there is a screw that will allow you to drain the carburetor, the thing I was concerned about why I didn't want to use gasoline to try it out. Storing power equipment for long periods of time with gasoline in the carburetor cause...
Generator with great features
Tom2025Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/14/2025I needed a generator that could provide emergency power when we experience power outages. I wanted a generator that had high power output and was easy to start. It fit the bill and I love that it can use three different fuel types. It is not quiet but that was not a criteria that I needed. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
Easy to Start Powerhouse Generator
NCGatorOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/5/2024I purchased this Generator 09/13/2024 because we have 5 or more power outages each year. My stepmother lives with us and she requires oxygen 24/7. We had a 2500W inverter which is difficult to start and was not sufficient power :2 refrigerator a large freezer and several interior lights. This unit has remote starting. We should have purchased a unit with the power, easy care, and easy start years ago. Don't purchase a little unit, you need at least 9500W run, 12500 start.

Heart AttackOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/7/2025I just moved to Florida and wanted a reliable, high watt output for running essentials plus during hurricane season. This generator had great reviews; features such as electric start (a must for wife) also remote start/stop, automatic (or manual if needed) choke, 30 and 50 amp hook ups and a built in battery test / charge plug. I put the supplied oil in and some gas in it and it started with remote on the first crank. I'm happy with what I have seen so far. Hurricane season will tell me more.
Reviews plus many good features
Bob990Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/8/2025I am recently purchased this electric start generator and it has exceeded all my expectations! The electric start feature is incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get the generator running with just the push of a button. It's powerful enough to handle all my household needs during power outages and runs smoothly without any hiccups. The build quality is top-notch, and it's surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. Overall, this generator is a game-changer for anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free backup power. Highly recommend!
Amazing product
Ern55Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/31/2025We live in FL and after the 2024 hurricane season (where we lost power for a combined 12 days) - we decided enough was enough and invested in a generator. We considered an expensive whole house model, however ultimately decided that for a fraction of the cost, this model would more than meet our needs, for something we hoped to never really need. We chose this model specifically because of the tri fuel options - gas, propane, natural gas. During the hurricanes last year, finding gas was a huge ordeal - so having other fuel options was key - and since it is transfer switch ready, we can (eventually) hook this up directly to our house and power most of our home essentials.
Great generator for emergency backup
ElvisTunaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/19/2025Earlier this month my wife and I bought this generator for our new house due to a couple extended losses of power. We also wired our house so we can just plug our generator into the outlet, throw a couple switches and boom power. Very easy to use and plenty of power for the things we need during outages.
Great features and easy to use
KBlake74Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/9/2025Bought this after 4 days no power due to Hurricane Helene..... I won't be without power again. This is a beast and will power everything critical in my house. Maybe not all at once but gets all critical circuits together. Pretty heavy but that's expected with the capacity. Would definitely recommend to anyone shopping for a generator.
Covers it All
HoBo JoOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/7/2024Don't bother giving a review for the free gift. Fine prints says while supplies last. I guess they ran out many months ago if they had any to start with. Just another gimmick to get over inflated reviews for their products. Save your effort and skip the reviews.

Luckily we had it this winter season because the cold is coming in with a vengeance! Doesn't snow much in Atlanta but when it does, it takes the power out with it! My family of 4 (2 kids, 5 & 3) would have been freezing in our home without making such a great investment for our household
Lifesaver when needed
HelenNOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/22/2024Easy set up with no extra tools needed. Poured in the included bottle of oil. Removed the spark plug and placed less than a teaspoon of oil in the cylinder wall and pulled it 10 times to distribute that oil. Reinstalled, spark plug. I then hooked up to a propane bottle and hit the remote start button started right up. Ran flawlessly for one hour with no power hook up. I then began to vary the wattage from 750 W to 3500 for 15 minutes and shut it down. Will continue to break in less than 50% rated wattage for five hours and then change the oil and it should be ready to go for the big load.
Great product with great user manual included.
Flo57Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/4/2025I bought this about 2 months ago and haven't had to use it yet, but I do enjoy the option of being able to use it using my homes natural gas. It seems to be well built and easy to assemble the few things you need to do to start using it. I'm actually looking forward to using it.
Great Features
Joey61Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/3/2025Kelly and I bought this because a couple of times a year we will be out of power for a few days. We considered a whole house generator, but we decided on a portable one because we may move in the next few years. We normally would need backup power during the winter so we wouldn't need to run the AC in the south. Even though this one would provably run the AC system. It was easy to assemble out of the box, put on wheels and rubber footing. Put in engine oil, fuel and it fired right up. We also have natural gas at the house, which would give us a more abundant fuel source. As gasoline could be scarce during extended power outages. I would buy this one again.
Great tri fuel generator
J J Hog FanOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/6/2025I just purchased this generator and man what a nice product. Simple to setup and so easy to start. The push button and remote start both worked very well. Sure beats pulling on that cord to start. We are expecting a big winter storm this week so I am hoping to get to put it to good use soon. The only con to it, and it is because it is so high powered, is it is pretty loud. So I would recommend placing it as far away from the house as you can.
Great Generator
