- 1 out of 5 stars review1/20/2025I just purchased this generator and did all rechecks and ran unit for about 10 min on propane and was good. Then needed it last night so I hooked it up and it ran power to my items for about 5-8 min and then it died. Tried restarting and it backfired several time and that was it. Would not run. Ended up putting a little gas I had, no more available at night and it finally ran but would not run at all on propane so I was stuck with no power. Call CS and all they will do is send me a new regulator to see if it fixes it but it will take about a week. Wow what a joke and the store I bought it from said they can't help per policy. This company should be able to call the store and have them supply the part as they sell that part but the manufactu...

I ran it today with 2 freezers and a refrigerator hooked into the 30 amp feed. I connected each one per the manual and didn't even hear any surge as they were connected. This tells me the generator is powerful. It also has 4 20 amp connections as well

Bought it for the 50A receptacle, but it also has the 30A twist lock, four 20A GFI receptacles, two USB ports and a Smart Switch receptacle. It has remote start or push button on the unit. You could pull start it too, but why? 6.6 gallon fuel tank. Ordering a cover for when it's running in inclement weather. Really pleased with our choice. Highly recommend this generator.

We purchased this Duel Fuel Generator because our power was out 5 days last year due to hurricanes and we could not find gas anywhere. With this generator you can use gas or propane. We always have at least 4 containers of propane filled at all times so we don't have to worry about gasoline. We are getting ready for hurricane season right now and are definitely ready for the power to go out this year.

The only regret is I didn't get the dual fuel model, which was available for just a little more. I had shopped around and confused myself about this feature on the generator I bought. It is still very capable, gasoline operation delivers more wattage anyway, for what I need and it was bought at a great price. The features I like include two 240v outlets 30 amp and 50 amp, the remote start fob, and the float charger that was included to keep the battery up for electric starting.

Easy startup guide, I was probably done and running the generator in 10 minutes. We bought this to power our 2000sqft home. It worked wonderfully and it even could handle the 4 ton ac starting up on natural gas!

It took me this long to open the box and get it cranked up because I had to find an electrician to upgrade my breaker panel. But that has now been accomplished and I have completed the 5-hour break-in period and changed the oil to remove any metal shavings that may have accumulated during break-in.

I saved $400 dollars from it's original price. I did some research and read good things about it. O and by the way it's huge was left on a pallet on my yard, we couldn't move it.We had to open the box and put the wheels on it in order to roll it in to our shed.

Electrician went to hook-up and test the new generator today and noticed the battery connection wire casing/insulation was frayed/cut exposing the inner wire. In addition, the keyless start fob was not present. I am hoping to have Westinghouse address both of these concerns.

And all though I've only tested so far it not only handled the A/C but I flipped the hot water heated and it took on like it was nothing. I wouldn't suggest running the two together but it was great to see it could handle the load. I'm waiting for the power to go out to give it a real test.

I love how you can start this with recoil, the push of a button, or with a remote! Dual fuel is the way to go. If you want to exercise your generator and you have the propane option it makes it much easier than adding gasoline that will sit in the tank afterwards and spoil. Just leave the gas tank empty and use the propane to start it every 6 months or so.
