We feel secure in knowing we have this quality generator by Westinghouse. Prior to purchasing we read reports and reviews. This generator had very high reviews and excellent performance records. The extra benefit of gas/propane makes this model even more impressive. We rest assured that our power will remain consistent in the event of power outages.

We purchased this in the springtime based on the reviews of the product. We went through a dry run and let it operate for about an hour with all of our electric service turned off. I hard wired this into a plug to our load center with his own dedicated circuit breaker. We have a typical 2000 square foot home with a 3 1/2 ton air conditioner, and this generator ran everything except the water heater, dryer, and stove. Our air conditioner only draws 13.8 amps on startup. And this generator didn't even cough when it came on. We're running about a gallon of gasoline for every two hours based on our usage. The first three days we had no electricity and we ran a generator for 10 hours.

Bought because of ability to use Nat Gas. Less hassle and maintenance than having old fuel sitting in the tank or garage. Had hose and enough quick connect fitting to get started and have a great setup. Enough power to keep Furnance running, Fridge, etc.

This generator is an absolute beast! We use it to power our RV, and it hasn't let us down once. It easily runs the air conditioning, two hot plates, all the lights, and ceiling fan without a hiccup. Despite its size, it delivers big-time performance. One of the most impressive features is the fuel efficiency. On a full tank of gas, we get around 11 hours of continuous use. Thee only downside is that it's loud, which is expected for any traditional generator. It's easy to start, and feels really solid and well-built. Definitely a great investment for anyone needing reliable portable power. Highly recommend it!

We bought this Tri-Fuel Generator for the current hurricane season. Last year we were without electricity for 2 weeks! Getting out and buying gas for it was a huge problem! So we purchased the Tri-Fuel and hooked it up to Natural Gas! It runs perfect and we are happy to not have to get gas should the occasion arise.

It worked perfectly out of the box. Now, half a year later, the starter is very sticky and so will sometimes simply not turn over the engine. Also, if it is too cold, as in around 20° F, the small battery included with the generator is simply not strong enough to cold-start the generator whether the starter happens to be working or not, so we've had to jump it on several occasions using spare car batteries we had around. Also, recently the generator has started to simply turn itself off while under minimal load with no warning, even with a full gas tan, full clean oil, and freshly cleaned air filter. The exhaust detector has been ruled out as well, as it is outside under shelter and the exhaust detection shutoff light was not blinking. I'm at a bit of a loss on that phenomenon. Anyway, we've been using this generator with some regularity in addition to solar and wind. I would certainly prefer it to simply work as it is well maintained.

Glad I purchased this Westinghouse generator. It's all about having an ease of mind if/when there's a power outage. I'm still in the break in period but this unit seems to be a quality build. The directions are easy to follow and it has a nice manual and even a wiring schematic

purchased the WGen9500TFc about a month ago to prepare for hurricane season, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Setup was simple, and it started right up using the remote start feature. It runs both my central A/C and other essential appliances with no problem. I also love that it runs on both gasoline and propane—huge plus for flexibility in emergencies. This generator gives me serious peace of mind and feels built to last. Highly recommend for anyone wanting solid power backup at home.

This generator is very easy to use and set up. This is first generator I have owned. I love the remote start. I have borrowed a friends generator before and am familiar with the pull cord start, in the rain. Having a remote is so convenient. There are three options to start the generator. The remote, the push button and the pull cord. I like the fact that I have three fuel options. I also can eventually tie this generator to my house electrical system(get a licensed electrician for this). Another great feature are the wheels which allow you to move it around with ease. So far I am really loving this piece of equipment.

Flexibility to use different power sources, ease of setup. Safety features to ensure that the most inexperienced person feels at ease. Maintenance minders are also important for newbies like me. Also enough wattage for all necessary household items during a disaster event.
