- 5 out of 5 stars review7/9/2025This generator is very easy to use and set up. This is first generator I have owned. I love the remote start. I have borrowed a friends generator before and am familiar with the pull cord start, in the rain. Having a remote is so convenient. There are three options to start the generator. The remote, the push button and the pull cord. I like the fact that I have three fuel options. I also can eventually tie this generator to my house electrical system(get a licensed electrician for this). Another great feature are the wheels which allow you to move it around with ease. So far I am really loving this piece of equipment.
Great Generator
Bald ScottOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/17/2025Bought this generator a week ago, came in sturdy box on pallet. No damage, dings or scratches. Added wheels, front supports, oil, plugged up cord to battery, connected to 20lb bottle of propane and after second attempt it started right up. Remote tested at 75 foot distance from home and it started and shut down with remote, wow that works for me. Have not tried to power home with it, but do not expect any issues. This is only for powering homes 240v ac equipment, water heater, heat pump, well pump, etc. Plan on using propane to run on. Having other fuels choices is a nice feature.
Great tri-fuel generator
Dagwood9Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/16/2025We are old people and the auto start fob is wonderful I read really good reviews on it so we got it we haven't used it yet we got it because our old generator would not start so we are waiting for a storm to hit , we are now prepared with a very easy device SOOO HAPPY !!!
Auto start
Nonna valerieOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/7/2025I bought this to be ready for anything. All the storms lately had been taking our power away. So we wanted to be prepared, especially to save our refrigerator. This machine did not disappoint. Its easy to roll around with the wheels and large handle. Love how easy it is to use.
Overall Great generator and amazing details.
MushcaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/24/2025I recently purchased the tri fuel generator after researching two other brands. The generator is was packaged well, study and seems to be a good build. It came with nice accessories like remote switch and 15' ft of gas hose. The ability to run on three fuel types is a plus. I can use the generator for my home during power outages with natural gas or take it camping and run it on propane or gasoline. I also like that the manual was well detailed with the maintenance schedule and a parts list. The price point and the reviews from multiple sites also helped make my decision. So far I'm satisfied with my purchase.
Excellent Tri Fuel Generator
AM 3NEOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/17/2025Flexibility to use different power sources, ease of setup. Safety features to ensure that the most inexperienced person feels at ease. Maintenance minders are also important for newbies like me. Also enough wattage for all necessary household items during a disaster event.
Just what i need
Sam345Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/21/2025We bought this Tri-Fuel Generator for the current hurricane season. Last year we were without electricity for 2 weeks! Getting out and buying gas for it was a huge problem! So we purchased the Tri-Fuel and hooked it up to Natural Gas! It runs perfect and we are happy to not have to get gas should the occasion arise.
EXCELLENT TRI-FUEL GENERATOR!!!
Kat6360Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review7/1/2025We purchased this for power outages and did not have to use it for almost a year. Unpacked it and it was easy to assemble and it started right up first try. It's pretty loud, for sure. We plugged in the freezer right away and it worked great, but for some reason the refrigerator keeps tripping the gfi on the generator. Everything else we used worked OK, just the fridge would not run. I would give it 5 stars but I dont know it it's the generator 's fault or issues with the fridge. When the power came on the fridge ran great.
Works great
1PeanutsOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/25/2025Bought because of ability to use Nat Gas. Less hassle and maintenance than having old fuel sitting in the tank or garage. Had hose and enough quick connect fitting to get started and have a great setup. Enough power to keep Furnance running, Fridge, etc.
Well built, flexible fuel features
MigeneratorworksOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/11/2025I purchased for upcoming hurricane season, great generator, powerful. I have a pressure washer also from Westinghouse and engine is awesome. This one is twice+ the size. Have not put into full use yet, but worked and ran great right out of the box like you would expect. Highly recommended. Great price!
Solid Generator!
FensterOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review7/3/2025We haven't used it yet, but bought it for some specific features and found others. We bought it for the 50A receptacle (for our campground trailer when the park power goes out). It also has the 30A twist lock receptacle, four 20A GFI outlets and two USB 5V 2.1A ports. Remote start as well. Hopefully optimistic!
Unexpected
RasherXOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/19/2025Glad I purchased this Westinghouse generator. It's all about having an ease of mind if/when there's a power outage. I'm still in the break in period but this unit seems to be a quality build. The directions are easy to follow and it has a nice manual and even a wiring schematic

JCASSIDYOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/11/2025I have spent quite some time replacing a generator that went out during the last storms and I wanted something more durable, sturdy with tri fuel capabilities. That also could be attached to a transfer switch at my home for a few circuits that need to stay running. Was getting tired of just running extension cords and I'm looking for a better solution. This generator will allow me to continue the old process while I hook up the natural gas line and the transfer switches. The only minor issue is the length of the supplied natural gas line seems inadequate for most applications when you're trying to keep your generator away from your house. All in all I would buy this generator again, and I am quite pleased with a little things that they did....
Excellent build on a generator of the proper size
Tom8789Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/21/2025It does what it is supposed to do - generate electricity!! It is a nice unit, started on first try and runs like a champ. Minimal assembly. Directions are really nice with helpful hints. I just used a 4-foot 2x4 to raise each side while my wife attached wheels and front rests. We only use the 240v plug, generator can take care of the house because we use gas (gasp) for stove, furnace, and hot water, all LED lighting, so the generator can do what we need to run the house.
Great Generator
SnmperOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/22/2025purchased the WGen9500TFc about a month ago to prepare for hurricane season, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Setup was simple, and it started right up using the remote start feature. It runs both my central A/C and other essential appliances with no problem. I also love that it runs on both gasoline and propane—huge plus for flexibility in emergencies. This generator gives me serious peace of mind and feels built to last. Highly recommend for anyone wanting solid power backup at home.

Big B 44Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/4/2025Directions for set up, use and maintenance are easy to follow and images actually match the product. Everything you need to know is written in plain, easy to understand wording. Every feature I could ask for and some I wouldn't have thought of-like a remote start!
Great features and easy to use
Dmartins3041Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/25/2025NOT WORKING IN COLD WEATHER (BELOW 20 F.) The "auto start" does not work at all at cold weather (Auto choke failure) It might work only if you push the choke lever with your thumb at the "cold" position and hold it there In other word: Useless if you live up northern USA or Canada fpor the reaL winter time

However, it seems like it will work for the purpose of RV camping. Seems to have all the features that I need but the manual refers to an Eco Mode Switch & Output Ready LED which I haven't been able to locate on this unit. The noise level is a little louder than I expected but can't wait to test it out.
Great features, Good product for the price!
JR70Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/25/2026I have been researching generators for over a year and now have decided due to an abundance of power outages at my home that this would be the time to get one. This WGen 9500c was the perfect fit for my needs as well as affordability. I added an Interlock kit to my main entrance panel and the outside plug as well. I am now confident that the next outage will not be so worrisome especially in wintertime. Everyone should consider an alternative power source for their home. Regards David Morris
It does it all
Happy In PaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2026Purchased this after much research and the recommendation of my electrician. We didn't need a fully automatic standby generator because we are year round residents. I wanted one I could turn on from our house- the remote satisfied this need; and we wanted to tap into our existing 500 gallon propane tank. This one checked all the boxes. Now we've got to wait for the power to out. I'm happy to wait.
Can't wait for the power to go out!
