Bought this generator to use for a backup power supply or when need power where i have no supply. It worked fine for the first couple of months had a issue with the Engine Switch I still have to replace it. Other than that it cranks up and runs fine.

This generator being duel fuel and not an inverter and only being 75 Decibals is solid deal. I'm not sure there's a better value generator. We bought this for emergencies (I.e. hurricanes in Florida). It's big enough to run through the switch I insalled on my house so I can run my AC and Fridge and even cook on my stove with the lights on.

I'm replacing an older, less powerful John Deere generator with the Westinghouse. The Westinghouse is slightly smaller, a bit lighter, and much easier to maneuver. It started right up during the first test run. I've used it twice for short power outages in the two weeks since I received it. No issues so far. The THD is high at 23%, but my UPSs only complain a little compared to the JD 5% THD generator it is replacing. Hopefully the engine holds up as well as the Honda on the JD it is replacing.

Installation was easy except foot frame needed to be bent in little bit to make bolts line up with threaded holes. Oil which came with unit was left over after filling to full line so don't assume that using the whole quart plus 15% more is correct. Started right up using propane (have not used gasoline yet) but did backfire once and ran for about 5 minutes. Wheels and handle make it easy to move on paved surfaces. Remote start/stop fob worked as expected. I hope that the carbon monoxide sensor does not shut the unit down unnecessarily as has been reported by some on social media. Only time will tell about durability and reliability.

I purchased this unit towards the end of Hurricane season 2024. I open the crate yesterday, September 3,2025, and start assembly of the unit. Everything went well and the unit start on the first try. I'm very happy with this purchase, my only hope is that I'm not required to use it. However, I have every confidence it will supply my needs.

Just received my brand-new WGen9500DFc and I'm impressed with the build quality and thoughtful design. Setup was straightforward, and everything needed was included — even oil and a funnel. The dual-fuel capability is a huge plus for flexibility, and the electric start fired up instantly during my initial test. I haven't run it under full load yet, but based on specs and first impressions, it feels like a solid investment for backup power and jobsite use. Looking forward to seeing how it performs long-term.

I setup my generator today and it's so easy. The product came with a natural gas and propane hose, plus oil and funnel. Easy startup guide, I was probably done and running the generator in 10 minutes. We bought this to power our 2000sqft home. It worked wonderfully and it even could handle the 4 ton ac starting up on natural gas!

This seems to be a great machine, easy assembly, lots of features. The only regret is I didn't get the dual fuel model, which was available for just a little more. I had shopped around and confused myself about this feature on the generator I bought. It is still very capable, gasoline operation delivers more wattage anyway, for what I need and it was bought at a great price. The features I like include two 240v outlets 30 amp and 50 amp, the remote start fob, and the float charger that was included to keep the battery up for electric starting.

Living in Florida with hurricane season having a generator is a must, and this one does not disappoint. Has all the features one could ask for (dual-fuel, remote start, CO2 detection) and many more. Hope I don't have to use it but if I do, I know we will be in good shape!

I bought this because my dad had bought one just before Helene. It fed enough energy to his home to have AC, lights and keep fridge and freezer going. This thing cranked as soon as it turned over the first time and the dual fuel option is great for trying times.
