Great Generator!

We bought this generator after Hurricane Beryl. We have a newborn baby and after tons of research a tri-fuel was our only option. Our house is on natural gas so we wanted to be able to use this feature. The shipment came in within a few days. We love everything about it and all the power it fuels our house. We can have everything powered up and running.

Excellent Backup Power

After several storms in Texas left our home without power, I decided we needed to get a generator. After doing my research for different brands, I decided on the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel Generator since we have a natural gas hookup. The Westinghouse has been a great decision. It has performed flawlessly and without any issues. I would absolutely recommend a Westinghouse generator for anyone's backup power needs!

very reliable

I bought this after a prolonged power outage (5 days) due to a hurricane. I have run the unit for a few winutes and the start-p and operation is very reliable. I have not yet had to run this for a real life power outage so i do not know the long term performance

Generator that can do it all

Great packaging, comes with everything! Oil, funnel, battery, charger, remote, natural gas hose, propane hose, and a Tool kit.. Powerful home backup generator. I installed a transfer switch for circuits we want to power up during an outage. I am using Natural Gas.

Very nice unit!

I just purchased in November 2024, I have not used it yet as intended. I will hook it up to a 50amp wall plug installed by an electrician once it is done. It has some great features, I love the build quality and the option to use propane. This is my first generator with a battery start, I will enjoy that feature as I am not as young as I used to be. This should be plenty of power for my needs.

Wife loves it!!

Took about 30 minutes to put it all together. Wheels, oil stands for the front and add some gas. All together very easy. Used the remote to start and after a couple tries it fired right up. Took a couple to get the gas flowing. So far very good results, haven't tried NG or propane. Looks good and should be able to load up in my pickup with the use of ramps. I have a 5th wheel we'll use it with. Came well packed with no damage.

Love the remote start feature (key fob)

I bought the wgen9500c a few months back but I wanted to wait before I left a review. First it was very easy to put together, basically just the wheels , two rubber antivibe pieces with brackets (opposite wheels) and the battery connection. Oh and oil & gas of course. Took 20 min maybe. It's very heavy so plan on that if you'll need to move before you get the wheels on it. Anyway it fired right up and runs my whole house with a central AC. it has a plug that looks like a laptop plug and you use that to keep your battery fully charged. It's like a trickled charger without all the mess. It also comes with a key fob and you hold the button and it'll remotely start or stop the generator. It's a good size generator for when the power goes out or Amy other reason you would need a lot of power. My only complaints it how loud it is, it's nothing crazy but it just seems it could be quieter. It is a large motor so it's expected and when the hurricanes came through and I had power guess what, that sound didn't bother me or my neighbors one bit. Overall I'd recommend this Westinghouse wgem9500c. I've had it about 6 months and I'm happy with it. Used it for like 2 weeks straight so far.

Works well.

Easy to install feet & wheels. Starts easily with push button, remote, or pull starter. I am 1 hour into the break in process so far. Not too loud. The manual says to turn the ECO mode switch off before starting and talks about the advantages of the ECO mode; but there is no ECO mode switch on my generator.

Solid Build

Purchased the tri-fuel after a hurricane left us without power for 1 week. Have not had to use in a power outage yet but it looks solidly built and able to handle our major appliances with AC unit to keep us going. Having a plumber install a gas line hook up this week.

Easy to use!

I am new to the generator universe and found the instructions easy to use and although I have only tested it and never had to use it, the instructions are so easy, my wife can use this product. We have it setup to be able to run the house in case of emergency loss of power. Thank you Westinghouse!
