Heavy duty, runs great

Overall, very pleased with this generator. Easy to follow instructions, easy to use and runs great. Seems heavy duty overall and power was as expected. I can actually run central air across two condensors, my fridge, dishwasher, tvs, lights, etc. My only complaint is that the wheels could be better and heavier duty.

Wgen9500c power house

I currently have the Westinghouse gen4500gfc inverter and absolutely love it. Quiet and easy to move around. Currently use it to power my house but want something that will power everything 100% and came across this Wgen9500c. Price was right and shipped to my door for free. Not too excited by the shipping carrier beating the box up but doesn't appear to be any major damage other than a dent in the fuel tank. Could use more styrofoam inside box for protection in my opinion. 4-stars for this reason

Great generator for a great price!

I was tired of losing power at home and decided to buy a generator. There were a bunch a brands to choose from, but I decided to go with Westinghouse because they have a long history of making reliable products. How do I know this? Because I served on a WW2 era Battleship that used a bunch of Westinghouse equipment that continued to work reliably until the ship was retired in 1991. The generator was delivered ahead of schedule and was easy to set up…All you have to do is add 2 wheels and 2 short legs and add the oil that was provided. I'm confident that I'll be able to power my entire house with this generator the next time we lose power from the electric company.

Beast

Purchased to feel assured in the event of a power outage, and upon starting it for the first time it was clear I made the right choice. This generator is a beast. The electronic remote start is great, and the trifuel options make me feel confident I will be able use it in any scenario.

Extremely Versatile and Easy to Use

The most difficult thing about this generator is moving it when it's still in the box! After that it smooth sailing - easy to set up, use and maintain. The instructions are clear and there's a ton of great support videos on YouTube. Make sure to use a licensed electrician to set up your transfer equipment - be safe!

Solid Powerhouse for Backup Needs 🔋🏡

The Westinghouse WGen9500TFC is a solid choice if you're looking for a reliable backup generator. I've been using it mainly for power outages and occasional outdoor events, and it's got some serious juice—9,500 running watts and a whopping 12,500 peak watts. It's plenty powerful for keeping essentials like the fridge, lights, and even a small AC unit running without breaking a sweat. Setup was surprisingly straightforward. It's got an electric start, which saves the hassle of manual pulling, plus remote start (nice bonus when you don't want to step outside). It's a bit hefty at around 220 lbs, but the wheels make it manageable enough to move around. For a unit this size, expect some noise, but nothing that feels unreasonable for the power output. One cool touch is the transfer switch-ready outlet, making it easier to connect to your home setup. Compared to similar generators I've tried, like the DuroMax or Champion models, the Westinghouse feels like it's built with just a bit more attention to detail. That said, it does gulp down fuel, so be prepared for frequent refills if you're running it for long periods. Overall, it's a reliable and powerful option for anyone looking for peace of mind during blackouts or wanting to power up outdoor events. Just keep an eye on the fuel gauge!

WGen9500c

I bought this product to replace another brand of generator that I had bought during an emergency. After researching and reading reviews about Westinghouse generators I decided to upgrade to the WGen9500c and I'm glad I did. It runs much quieter; the push button and remote start features are so smooth and simple to use I know my wife could start and operate it in an emergency if I wasn't home.

As descibed!

I did my homework before buying and everything about the 9500 tri-fuel is acurately described! Easy setup and runs perfect on propane and natural gas. I'm choosing not to use gasoline so not to have to babysit with additives. Great purchase at a great price!

Great for ease of mind

I was looking for a generator after a storm took out power for 2 weeks. After seeing great reviews I decided on this and its an amazing product for the price. Being tri fuel i can rest assured i can use natural gas or propane when gas stations are usually full after storms. Great product all around
