Just what I was looking for

We live on the Gulf coast of Florida and were affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton, suffering power loss both times. While a smaller generator got us through, it wasn't comfortable by any means. With this size we can power everything but the air conditioner. I like the tri-fuel capability. My wife works from home and lost power means lost wages. When I'm not home, it's a lot simpler and cleaner for her to start it up on propane versus gas without being obnoxiously loud.

BEST EVER

We received the generator 3 days ago. Put everything together as per the instructions. It started up 1st try. I can't say enough on how great it performs! I prefer to run the generator on Propane, because it is so convenient. and automatically easy. I have had a lot of generators in my day, but so far this one puts everything to shame. Great price--Great machine, I don't have to break my back trying to start it.

Compact and well built

Unit shipped quickly. Complete ready to go out of the box, minus fuel, of course. It was easy to assemble the wheels and bumbers on too the frame. The Quick start guide is easy to follow. We like the pushbutton start feature, we have not tried the remote. We only tried propane as fuel. I will try natural gas also as we have an outdoor hook up. The unit started quickly and is not too loud. The unit is heavy and well built. My wife was able to move it around the garage alone. We are very please to have the ability to have a good source of stanby power. I highly recommend this compact well built unit.

Love The Remote !

Powerful and quite generator. The push start is what I like most because I do not have to go outside to start it. It conveniently converts for 3 fuel types. It's attractive. You get the best bang for the buck with regular gas in my opinion. Haven't tried the natural gas, but a regular size propane tank gets used up around 7 hours.

12500/9500 Generator

Easily assembled, great owners manual, and the remote start is cool but not needed. Replaced a 11 year old Rigid generator with this one which was rated #1 on multiple sites. Haven't ran my house off of it yet but hope it stands up to the ratings!!!!

Excellent Product

I bought this after Hurricane Helene. We were without power for days and I had a very old generator that performed okay but was very hard to crank and maintain! I wanted something that would run the house. This product seems to be exactly what I needed, and I love the fact it also uses propane. It is also easy to move!

Runs great!

After unboxing it I did the simple assembly (attaching the wheels and feet), topped up the oil (be careful not to overfill it, the bottle that comes with it has more oil than needed), then hooked the trickle charger for the gel cell battery and let it charge overnight. The next day I hooked up a propane cylinder and followed the instructions to start it. It started right up and ran smoothly. Power was available at the 110VAC recepticals on the panel. The documentation that came with the unit is complete and accurate. Read it carefully and you will have no problems with operation of the unit.

Looks good, hope it works when we need it

I bought this for the purpose of keeping my family powered up in the case of a power outage. I like the fact it is tri-fuel to keep options open. I did have one other Westinghouse generator that failed to work, but I'm giving them another chance here. Cannot rate thoroughly as I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

Nice generator.. Westinghouse 9500 C

This Westinghouse 9500 C generator is very nice. It came with a remote start and a plug-in battery tender Both work very well. This generator has the 30 amp twist lock plug but also has the 50 amp plug Which is a must-have if you're trying to run your whole house.. It runs strong and smooth.. Looking forward to years of dependable operation..

Solid Powerhouse for Backup Needs 🔋🏡

The Westinghouse WGen9500TFC is a solid choice if you're looking for a reliable backup generator. I've been using it mainly for power outages and occasional outdoor events, and it's got some serious juice—9,500 running watts and a whopping 12,500 peak watts. It's plenty powerful for keeping essentials like the fridge, lights, and even a small AC unit running without breaking a sweat. Setup was surprisingly straightforward. It's got an electric start, which saves the hassle of manual pulling, plus remote start (nice bonus when you don't want to step outside). It's a bit hefty at around 220 lbs, but the wheels make it manageable enough to move around. For a unit this size, expect some noise, but nothing that feels unreasonable for the power output. One cool touch is the transfer switch-ready outlet, making it easier to connect to your home setup. Compared to similar generators I've tried, like the DuroMax or Champion models, the Westinghouse feels like it's built with just a bit more attention to detail. That said, it does gulp down fuel, so be prepared for frequent refills if you're running it for long periods. Overall, it's a reliable and powerful option for anyone looking for peace of mind during blackouts or wanting to power up outdoor events. Just keep an eye on the fuel gauge!
