I bought this generator prior to hurricane season. I live in Florida and they say we will have a very active hurricane season this year. The generator arrived in great condition. It looks well made. I feel that we can handle any power outage that comes our way.

We bought this after having no power for a few days. Now that another storm is about to hit, we're getting prepared and I feel very confident and reassured with this. Its very high quality, feels like it is built to last a long time, and seems like it would do a great job! It also isnt too difficult to set up, which I especially enjoyed!

I have waited a long time to purchase a generator, following the written reviews. After the latest storm I knew it was time. I'm happy with my choice of Westinghouse. I was disappointed in the finding the steel frame surrounding the gas tank dented/pushed in. I

My husband researched several generators, including this one, which was also recommended by the electrician who installed the transfer switch. He loved the tri-fuel feature as well as it's easy start-up and many other features that other brands don't have. It's heavy, but fairly easy to move around with the wheels., and with it being a 12500 watt, it will be able to handle quite a bit in our home should we need it to. Here in Florida, we feel much more secure knowing we have it ready to go at a moments notice.

Originally looked at permanent stand by generator but unit cost and installation was almost 7 times more than this solution and I dont have a big ugly box sitting outside my house. After having an electrian do the house setup, I simply pull the WGen 9500 out of the garage, plug it into the transfer switch outlet box on the side of the house and we are good to go with stand by power for all the essential circuits. when power is restored, Just roll it back in the garage. Way cheaper-way better solution to occasional power outages.

I recently purchased the 9500DF, it came when expected, easy to assemble, started right away. Powerful enough to run all that I want in the house, wheels make it easy to maneuver, I like the push button start. hope that I don't lose power, but this gives me peace of mind when that does happen.

I bought this item during Hurricane Beryln. All the electricians I talked suggested this brand. Shipment was very quick and installation was easy. So far I am happy with it. I definitely recommend it. Having a remote starter is a great feature. Thanks

Just finished the break in period and it's worked as advertised. It's only use will be backup power to our home. During the break in period it handled the loads it was bought for with power to spare. The remote start is a nice feature and will come in handy if my family has to get it started.

The generator was well packaged and arrived with no damage to either the carton or the generator. The wheels and legs were easy to attach and adding the oil was also easy. I made the battery connection and the generator turned over on the first try. The FOB remote worked just as well. After putting fuel in the tank and remembering to turn the fuel shutoff valve to the on position, the generator started on the second time it turned over. The electrical output was excellent. The only thing about the generator I do not understand is it is rated at 9500 running watts and one outlet is a 50-amp. This would equal 120 volts x 50 amps = 6000 watts. I asked if the 30-amp and 50-amp outlets could be used at the same time and was told no. I do not know how to get the full 9500 running watts out of the unit.

I bought this just a few days before hurricane IAN ripped through our area. It performed better than expected. We lost power around shortly before noon on September 28th. The generator started easily on the first try and ran continuously for about 11 hours each day (4) until the power was restored. I shut it off at night and restarted in the morning. It used about 6.5 gallons of gas each day, which I thought was very good. It ran great even during rainy periods. It ran my refrigerator, several lights and tv's without straining. After the hurricane I had a transfer switch and outdoor inlet plug installed so I can run the central AC. I tested the system and it performed flawlessly running the AC, refrigerator, dishwasher, 3 tv's and several lights, microwave and a toaster for over an hour in 90 degree southwest Florida heat.
