Ok to set up, although, for the natural gas connection it requires a special fitting like the one for a stove. The plumber doesn't carry those with him so it required a run to the hardware. That gas line fitting should be included. It runs, and generates electricity. Living in a city in Ohio, I may never have to use it, but now I have it for my Bipap, O2 concentrator Refrigerator, etc. Enough outlets the neighbor could use it too.

I own two separate dwellings, one already with back-up power supplied by a Westinghouse Genset. This unit is slightly smaller (9,500W vs 12,500W) than the first unit, but only needs to supply the house requirements. These generators are very dependable, fire right up when needed (which is often), and get good "mileage" from a tank full of gas. Controls are simple, easy to access, and easy to use. Same goes for the maintenance.

I bought this generator prior to hurricane season. I live in Florida and they say we will have a very active hurricane season this year. The generator arrived in great condition. It looks well made. I feel that we can handle any power outage that comes our way.

My husband researched several generators, including this one, which was also recommended by the electrician who installed the transfer switch. He loved the tri-fuel feature as well as it's easy start-up and many other features that other brands don't have. It's heavy, but fairly easy to move around with the wheels., and with it being a 12500 watt, it will be able to handle quite a bit in our home should we need it to. Here in Florida, we feel much more secure knowing we have it ready to go at a moments notice.

I just bought less than a week ago. Shipping was fast. Generator came packaged well. Simple instructions to follow. Quick minor assembly of wheels. Then just added the oil included and filled with fuel. Started right up after third try, and that was only because it had to prime the fuel. Looking forward to using.

Bought this as hurricane beryl wiped out power in our area. The Tri Fuel option is brilliant and so easy to use, managed to run a few days on Gasoline before getting the nat gas line installed. Generator is powering the whole house including one AC unit. I'd love to run both units but the 2nd one died on me, once repaired I'll come back and comment it both worked Changed the oil after 24 hours and glad we did. Particles were evident on draining as expected. Make sure to do this It's not the quietest generator but it's super cost effective and very very easy to use once properly installed. Zero complaints.

I recently purchased the 9500DF, it came when expected, easy to assemble, started right away. Powerful enough to run all that I want in the house, wheels make it easy to maneuver, I like the push button start. hope that I don't lose power, but this gives me peace of mind when that does happen.

2 weeks ago I purchase this generator. Upon receipt I was glad to see it was easy to assemble. The generator is a beautiful color. The generator came with a quart of oil and the generator manual was easy to follow. The updated push start and the remote control start is awesome. It is easy to move around for storage. The motor makes less noise than my previous generator. Glad my friend told me about this brand. Great investment!!!

I weathered first winter storm. The WGen9500 exceeded my expectations. 1. Push button start was great when temp was 5 degrees. It was set-up to run safely outside if needed. It was. 2. Battery trickle charge is great. 3. Much quieter than expected but still not super quiet. . 4. Could've run 12 hours before running out of gas.

Minimal assembly required. I added the oil, some gas, and it fired right up first push of the START button. I am surprised at all the features of this model for the price, for example: remote start and CO detector/shut off. It is well designed and well made. It runs with less vibration and is a bit quieter than I expected.
