I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Everything you need to get things started. Feeling very secure the next time our power is out or disrupted due to extreme weather. You simply can't beat the tri fuel options and premium features on this unit, not to mention the power this product puts out.

I bought this generator to be our backup power in case of power failure. Our electrician installed the transfer switch and recommended Westinghouse. It was delivered right to our garage and the setup was VERY simple and straightforward. We were testing it in a matter of minutes and it fired up immediately. Ran smoothly and includes a remote FOB. We checked that it did generate power via the standard 120V outlet and the 30A connector.

After researching and reading some of the nearly all 5 star reviews / ratings regarding the WGen9500c generator, I decided to purchase one. After receiving it, and following the easy start guide and user manual, the generator started at the push of the remoted key fob. It ran extremely smooth and provided the necessary power with no hesitation. Due to Westinghouse's reputation and quality of their products, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well built and dependable protatble generator! I'm completely satisfied. Very pleased with the build quality of this generator. It seems very well built and has a ton of extra features that I didn't even know about. The remote start is nice and the electric start battery is fully included and works great! Like other reviews mention, make sure to check the oil level after you put what is included in the engine. I bought 2 of these and they both filled up to the top of the L mark on the dipstick, so I added a bit extra to get it further up the dipstick on both units. Overall excellent generator at an even better price compared to other brands!

Generator started right up. I didn't see any signs of damage from shipping. All the accessories were there. The noise is about what I expected. Size is nice and compact and easy to move around. The only trouble I had getting going was the manual states that 2 wires need to be connected to the battery terminals but they already were but no light came on when the power switch was turned on. Battery was charged. Traced the lines back and found they were unplugged from a connector. Should change the manual or put a bright colored tag on the wires stating they need to be connected.

Just received couple days ago so haven't got to test it good yet. Have ran to break in everything works as should, really like the 50A receptacle feature. Put oil and gas in and hooked up battery and it started right up, seems like a good piece of equipment.

Generator was received in perfect condition, put it together in less than 10 minutes, put fuel in it for testing and it started right up without hesitation. Highly recommend as this is the best generator I've owned. I love the battery charger they supplied and the fob to start it up.

We have been having multiple-day power outages after the recent storms, and since we live in a rural area, are usually the last to get power restored. The most recent outage lasted over 7 days, which meant no water from our well pump (for showers, or toilets), or heat (our home got down to 54°). Having to go to a restaurant to use "the facilities" or get warmed up was just awful. I was determined not to go through that again, so I bought this generator after reading reviews and consulting an electrician to determine the size. The remote electric start is a blessing since I am not as capable as I used to be. This generator meets the needs of my entire house without breaking stride, runs reliably, and I feel relieved that I can count on having power when I need it. This is definitely a purchase every home owner should have considering our aging infrastructure.

I assembled the 9500 today- very easy and it came with oil and tools needed. After adding oil and gas it fired right up at the pus( of a button. It is quiet and is just what I need for weather related power failures. It is powerful and has a many coolness features for a fair price.

I bought this just recently after doing several comparisons and after speaking with and electrician who also recommended the Westinghouse generators. This machine is full of excellent features and although it's compact, everything you might need to get at to service is easily accessible. I was very impressed with the manual that came with it. It's well written and well laid out, something you don't come across too much these days. I bought this powerhouse because it will run my entire house, including my AC, although naturally I will be prudent about too many appliances starting up at once. I was also impressed that Westinghouse put the support phone number right there on the machine!
