I bought this generator 3 weeks ago. Assembly was easy and glad oil was included. Ran the generator through cycles and seems to work fine under load. My wife loves the key fob starter! She is able to start it from inside the house. Happy wife-happy life.

I bought this Generator to have on standby in case of a power outage during storms. After getting it set up and running I am very impressed. If you are looking for a well-built generator with excellent features stop looking and buy the WGen9500. It is well worth every penny.

I just received this and it was an absolute breeze to set up. Had it and running in less than 15 minutes and powering several items in my garage. So relieved to have this as we just moved house and have lost power once already so I know this will be getting some good use.

The generator arrived boxed and palletized. Unboxing showed no damage and assembly of the wheels and feet was simple. I filled the oil and gas tanks, but when I tried to start it with the push button start nothing happened. After several tries I gave up and started it manually it ran fine. I let it run for about 20 minutes thinking the battery needed charging, but that did not happen. I checked the battery connections and re-read all the instructions, but to no avail. Then I checked the wires that were tucked up under the control panel and saw two male/female connection wires held together with a zip tie and saw that that was the issue. Once connected, the generator started as it should with the push button. It would have been nice if this necessary connection was mentioned in the start-up instructions.

Just set up today and works good so far. one issue is the 50 amp outlet at the generator. The 50amp cord, when plugged in, is problematic to keep a safe connection because of the wheel located right under the outlet connection. You've got to manipulate the very heavy duty cord to be sure the plug stays in. Maybe some cords work better....The design could use some improvement on the operation side. 3 stars are not accurate for the full operating success, but I hope it's a 5 star when the power is out.

I bought this March 2021 and waited until I used it enough to know the unit to write a review. Shipping was on time, delivery drivers respectful of my investment, the box in showroom condition and not a scratch on the generator. The first startup was interesting, oil added and I went to pull the cord a few times to run oil up in the motor but it started on the first easy pull. Breakin was easy, oil changing no issue. Then I had back surgery so it sat for a few months. I didn't put fuel stabilizer in it so when I rolled it out I wondered what would happen but when I turned it on, hit the remote it started right up. I researched a bunch of generators before buying and Westinghouse was always top rated for a number of reasons so I bought the WGen9500 and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I highly recommend this generator for features performance and price, you will not be disappointed.

Received the generator this morning and within an hour it was up and running! Detailed instruction manual was clearly written. I can't wait to try the remote start and down the road I'm going to use the Transfer feature which was one of the selling points for me. Great job Westinghouse!

I just received this item so I don't know much but I do know that this generator looks well made and great quality. Easy to understand setup directions. East to put the couple of pieces together. Comes with oil to fill it with and get ready for it to run

Bought this Generator about 1 week ago and so far it has work as described. Wanted a Generator to power my home in case of outages which apparently occur often now in California. The thing that I love is the remote start feature. Overall happy with purchase.

Just got my WGen9500TFc and got pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set up. Build quality jumps at you when looking at it as well as the accessories and parts included. The wheels have double wheel bearings. It also comes with a remote start and both, the propane line and 25' line for NG.
