I pitched this generator just as an added piece of mind for power outage. Seems well built and was delivered with no problem and in great condition. I added oil and followed instructions on how to pair the remote start and started it with the fob. Great product so far.

We did a lot research before buying this generator. We love the ease of the push to start as well as the remote start. We were afraid it would be difficult to use but it couldn't be easier. This generator is extremely well built and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Generator is perfect for our condo. Powers everything up and starts within seconds. Glad we went with a reputable manufacturer. Nice plus is that it comes with a wheel kit, some brands don't. Great value, lots of power for the purchase price and very well designed and is very sturdily constructed.

The generator arrived boxed and palletized. Unboxing showed no damage and assembly of the wheels and feet was simple. I filled the oil and gas tanks, but when I tried to start it with the push button start nothing happened. After several tries I gave up and started it manually it ran fine. I let it run for about 20 minutes thinking the battery needed charging, but that did not happen. I checked the battery connections and re-read all the instructions, but to no avail. Then I checked the wires that were tucked up under the control panel and saw two male/female connection wires held together with a zip tie and saw that that was the issue. Once connected, the generator started as it should with the push button. It would have been nice if this necessary connection was mentioned in the start-up instructions.

I now have bought two of these generators. Have one for the house and for my pole barn.Really like that most of what you need is in the box.The propane connection and natural gas connection are included! To test them I used the 20lb propane tank and they start with ease. Also battery tender is also included as is the Oil and funnel! This is really a very nice package. Thx Westinghouse.

I bought the 9500/12000 last year around July/August through a relative. I am not based in the U.S. Started good and then all of a sudden couldn't start. I called a repair man who opened the engine to find out that the cam was rubbing against the engine case which broke some parts of the cam with spring and something else. After it was replaced, the generator ran well, but then it stopped turning off with the remote. The generator came with factory issues. Other than these issues, I think the generator is good. But why an aluminum coil for such generator?

I've used a lot of different generators before for work and this is by far the best one it's strong and power. The trifuel option also comes in really handy when in bind I can easily choose between any of the three option. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

I bought the generator about 3 weeks ago to replace a 6000 Watt generator. Having the extra power will enable me to use some of my 240 Volt appliances during prolonged outages. The ability to remote start and connect the smart switch at a future date are a plus.

We purchased this for our new home, in case of emergencies, i'm so glad that we did, its simple to use, I was worried it would be a complicated process and i would be unable to use it if my husband was not at home, but even I can do it. Great product.

It is a substantial investment, but it's a great insurance policy and peace of mind for when the power goes out… AGAIN! This past winter was rough and we decided not to place ourselves–and our home–in jeopardy. The 9550TFc has the added fuel capacity with natural gas. We may never need it with our current home, but as circumstances change, it is worth the upgrade. The addition of the battery for the electric start was greatly appreciated! The Westinghouse brand is one you can trust when you need it most.
