I did a lot of research before buying the WGen 9500. I am pleased with all the standard features along with the over all quality and price of the unit. It was easy to set up and get started. I appreciate the remote starting FOB it came with it. The instructions were very straight forward and the unit was very clearly marked and intuitive. The noise level was very acceptable especially compared to my old Coleman 5000W. I am looking forward to many years of use. I want to be prepared and this rounds out my preparedness. Of course, I'll be a genius to my wife, the 1st time it's needed!

I bought the generator about 3 weeks ago to replace a 6000 Watt generator. Having the extra power will enable me to use some of my 240 Volt appliances during prolonged outages. The ability to remote start and connect the smart switch at a future date are a plus.

Assembly was quick and easy. Added the oil and gas and the unit started right up. The unit does all of the choke operation, so all my family has to do is verify it has gas and push the start button. I live in Florida so hopefully I will not need to use it any time soon.

I found out the hard way during a power outage you get what you pay for in generators. My cheap generator quit when I needed it the most. I bought this quality Westinghouse unit and couldn't be happier. It is heavy duty, pushes any load I would ever need, and is full of features. It even has remote start and an included battery trickle charger. Pay a little extra and get a good generator and don't get left out in the cold like I did!

We bought this generator because every time we lose power, we have no water, which also means no flushing toilet. We had an electrician come out and put in a transfer switch. It runs great! It was easy to use and assemble. The 3 different ways to start it (push button, pull start and key FOB) is a plus. It runs what we need to get through an annoying power outage. It runs our furnace, well pump and more with no issues. We are relieved to finally have a reliable back up for any unexpected power outages.

I have just received this WGen9500 and it was a breeze to get it going. Instructions were excellent. This is the size that I need to power my whole house in case of extended electrical outage. I will be able to use central air with discretionary usage of other appliances. I'm ready for the next cold weather event or hurricane with this generator and the cost was very reasonable.

This generator was so very well packaged! No problem at all with assembly. They even give you the tools to assemble. They even give you a nice, curved funnel to add the oil they supply with the generator. Super quiet, and starts easily, due to the semi-automatic choke. Gas and propane lines supplied with it, are an added bonus. Great value for the money!

Perfect as a lower cost solution for whole house back up in conjunction with a panel interlock kit. Thousands less expensive than a standby generator! Came perfectly packaged, no damage whatsoever. Works exactly as advertised. The tri-fuel selection is great! Love the remote start, too.

Just had my WGen9500 delivered. Super easy setup. I love the electric start. This thing is running my electric hot water heater, two refrigerators, our entire entertainment center, and multiple lights. I'm sure we've got power to spare, too. I love it so far!

I bought this on September 12, 2018 but due to illness I left in box sealed. Started it up last month and she runs like a top. I worked for Westinghouse back in the late 60's as a nuclear project engineer on the polaris nuclear submarine program and I have always been very proud of Westinghouse products and their performance.
