We bought this just in case we were without power. I forgot to turn the gas valve to on. Once I figured that out it started right up. Push button works. It is a not a quiet machine, I plan to cover it in a vented box or use some plywood to mute the sound a little. Overall a great value

My first generator and no issues at all. Just follow the maintenance schedule and you will have zero issues. We use this as a home backup in Galveston, Texas. It runs our AC, fridge and basically everything else down stairs. It can also run the water heater while the AC is off. Fantastic unit!

During hurricane beryl we had use of our old 5000kw gen. The only problem was getting gas. With your tri fuel I feel safer because if I can not gas I can use my natural gas line hook up. I did a test run when I got this and it powers up my whole house with a few bigger appliances not connected. This generator will serve my needs in the future. My husband and I are in our sixties we needed something easy to start, we bought this Generator because of the push start. We live in FL and when we have Hurricanes, we sometimes have trouble getting gas so it's Very nice that we can also use propone. Push the button and its starts so easy.

After being disappointed with another brand of comparable size, I decided after reading 2 independant reviews of the top 5 and top 10 portable 12K generators to purchase the Westinghouse WGen9500 (which is 12K start up). The attention to detail was the first thing I noticed as I unboxed it. After attaching the wheels and base legs and putting the oil (which was supplied) in the crankcase, and 1 gallon of gas in tank, I pushed the electric start button. It took between 2-3 seconds to start and ran smoothly. The first thing I noticed was the quietness for this size generator. I have 2 smaller generators and it is quieter than either. The remote start feature is really nice. I went in the house which is 40 yds from my shop, hit the button and it started immediatley. Hooked a load to it and it performed flawlessly. I bought it for power back for my home but have not hooked it to transfer power and test it yet, since I have only had it a few days. It is also very easy to move and manuever with the big wheels and handle. I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone who needs this size generator.

We use this Westinghouse (WGen9000) as a replacement to the Wgen7500 that we lost in a forest, Both have performed extremely well. This has been used with an offgrid setup, providing power for tools like welders and plasma cutters, also quickly topping up batteries for a solar system on rainy days. Cannot recommend enough.

Just bought my first portable generator. After researching several models, I chose the Westinghouse model for two reasons: 1) A variety of features that adequately fills my needs and 2) Value for the money paid. Although I haven't used it much yet, except for breaking it in a little, I'm confident this generator will provide top notch service for my needs in the event of an outage.

I replaced my old generator with this Westinghouse WGen9500, I am very happy with it. The wheels and feet were very easy to install, then I just filled up the oil, add gas and it started right away on the first try. I did not have any problems. I really like the remote start feature. I researched lots of generator brands and I am very happy I chose Westinghouse

I bought the generator just prior to hurricane Beryl. It performed extremely well. I was able to use propane which for me is a plus. I ran a window unit, refrigerator, lights and fans. It handled the situation with ease. I highly recommend this generator for anyone that is looking for the best for the money. I give it 5 stars!
