I bought the Westinghouse 9500 single fuel generator online a day after hurricane Beyrl hit our area. Living in a rural area I already knew that the power was going to be out for an extended period of time. I came about two days later and life was back to normal. I stayed cool inside with it running our large window AC unit. Figured out how to wire up my well pump to it and had water. Fridge and microwave along with lights were all plugged in as well. The generator was able to run everything pretty well but out of caution I turned off the AC when I needed to use the microwave or wanted to cycle the well pump. I'm definitely going to install a 50amp power inlet box to my main breaker panel so I can power my home easier compared to running a game of Tetris with the extension cords. Definitely glad I purchased a generator but even more grateful to have purchased the Westinghouse 9500c size. I have no more concerns about power outages while living in a rural area. This thing made it a pleasant experience and I had WiFi, TV, AC, refrigerator, lights, microwave, a well pump, and whatever small appliances I needed at the time running off of the four 120v power ports. The most important of them all was the AC and coffee maker. Overall I'm satisfied with the price point and product.

I bought this unit as a backup for my entire house, I hadn't used it for an extensive period of time until Hurricane Ian came through knocking out power for several days. This unit powered my house and ran perfectly the entire time. I had neighbors coming by the house to recharge items and provide electricity to my neighbor to keep their refrigerator working.

I bought this unit after a heavy rain storm and tornado outbreak downed power lines all over the county. The power was out for 48 hours and then intermittent while new poles were being placed for a total of 5 days without reliable power. I chose the 9500c to ensure I could run most equipment in the house for extended outages. I am happy with the ease of assembly and the clarity of the owners manual. Detailed instructions on short term storage and long term. There is a separate quickstart procedure sheet with a complete maintenance schedule on the back. Assembly tools are included. It is very heavy but the wheels seem very heavy duty and hold the weight, making this easy to roll out. Remember to always get bigger than you think you need so you have room to add and not have to get another generator.

I purchased this order so that it would be easy for me to start and to move around. The installation of the wheels and base is very easy and the instructions are easy to follow. My neighbors are already discussing who will get the 1st cup of coffee when we lose power. I may have to charge them a fee… Overall, this product has given me peace of mind. Should I need it in the event of loss of power.

I bought the Westinghouse portable generator a month ago, and so far I am very pleased. Good power to run the house including 3.5 ton AC. I had it wired with soft start to reduce the AMP spike when the compressor starts. Extra features are nice, including remote start, harmonic gauge, and 50 AMP cord outlet. So far I have only run it for a couple of hours, the real test will be when it is needed for longer periods.

I bought this after having a long term power outage and wanted a generator that could run on multiple fuel types. We have not had another power outtage since but this unit will allow for my whole house to run as if we didnt lose power. I have done several test runs with it and it performed great. The quality of the unit seemed great as well. Lots of power for a reasonable price. I'd recommend it so far.

I just bought this after seeing all the great reviews all over the internet for it, plus it was one of the main ones my electrician recommended. It was easy to unpack and put the wheels on, pull handle already was attached. Now, ready for the next storm.

I purchased this product for the versatility and ease of operation. the capability of installing a transfer switch was a selling point for me. After adding fuel and oil it started on the first push of the electric start button. Very quit running with a large fuel tank.
